Absolutely the best Italian dining experience we have had. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was so friendly you really felt like you were part of a big family. Will definitely be returning.

Exceptional experience from the dinner to the wine to the warm inviting staff. They make you feel like you’re in their home. I had the salmon dinner which was mouth watering. My man had the ravioli special and said it was equally as good. The red wine selection was extensive for by the glass. I had options of Italian or even Argentinian wine. I tend to like wine that is produced out of the United States since they have cleaner options. We are very happy and will return soon.

I have been here a number of times to date. It’s is usually 5 stars across the board. However, this go around was not so pleasant. The waitress was short and inattentive. Our food was bland and rushed. Also, when we first attempted to send back the entree that was visibly rushed, we were told, “it’s too late”. Even though we hadn’t touched the dish because of its presentation. Not sure that I will be returning. Godspeed!

Every time we come to La Jolla we eat at this restaurant. I’m Italian and their food is as authentic as it gets. We love the lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. Both just melt in your mouth. The staff is fabulous. Very attentive to your every need. I highly recommend this place when visiting this area. So so good. Al and Ludo make you feel like family.

Truly lovely experience, party of 4 and we all had amazing dishes. The short ribs main course, short rib risotto, carbonara, and chicken Parmesan were extremely yummy. It was warm inside but that’s only because it’s San Diego and humid. The tiramisu was absolutely amazing.

The service was really amazing and the food was absolutely terrific! I've gone to many restaurants throughout my life and this restaurant was by far the best one. The landscape is beautiful and everyone that works there was so sweet and caring. On top that the food was amazing! If you ever get a chance to come here I recommend the lobster ravioli and the short ribs!
