   My boyfriend and I visited on a Friday night for dinner. Throughout the evening the service was excellent, charming with a good sense of humour, attentive but not OTT. The menu is a good size, we opted for the prawns and the mozarella with speck for starter. Generous portions of fresh and well prepared food, I was excited for the gnocchi main! With due reason as it was excellent, really good flavours. My boyfriend had the lasagne which he agreed was excellent. The Primitivo red was morish and tasty and the meal itself was excellent value for money. We will return!

   Good typical traditional Italian restaurant with varied menu, friendly service and lovely Italian music in the background. Only slight problem was not the restaurant itself but parking nearby.

   I'm born and bred in Italy and, after moving to the UK, I always go on the hunt for authentic Italian restaurants. La Dolce Vita surprised me with a friendly atmosphere and good quality food - as good as you can get in Central London, without the huge waiting lists and the crazy prices! I'll definitely be back again.

   We thought the food was good here. Authentic, tasty and good value. It's obviously a popular place with locals and regulars. Plenty of good choice and perfect timings with each course. The downside is the decor - or more specifically the cleanliness. There were food splatters on the floor/radiator and cobwebs hanging from the picture frames / walls. Very distracting and makes me wonder about attention to cleanliness in the kitchen. Wait staff very polite and nice. Food and family friendly environment means I would return here.

   Tried La Dolce Vita for the first time on Mothers Day. My husband was worried that we hadn't been before and that we were testing it out on our whole family,well 6 members of the family anyway. we were a little late arriving but all was well The waiters were friendly & helpful. The orders arrived swiftly. The lamb was very good. I think it's just a good value pleasant little restaurant definitely worth a try !

    The food is great. Well timed, un rushed and complimentary fresh bread, butter and olives. The owners are Italian and it's like a little piece of real Ialy in Teddington. Comfy seats and quiet so you can have a chat with loud music blaring at you. I had salmon fillet with mash potato, courgettes and a lemon sauce. It was exquisite. The potato was beautifully done and the salmon was generous. The sauce was to die for. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant which is tucked away in Teddington but deserves to be better known.
