There are all too many restaurant’s in the Chalk Farm and Primrose Hill area of London claiming to be a ‘neighbourhood favourite’ and La Collina is one of only a few really living up to the title. AA Rosette, La Collina is a family run restaurant that just reach is 5th years, offering really authentic Italian food made with quality ingredients sourced to reflect regional flavours from throughout Italy but with a menu particularly influenced by the north of the country.Our fish and meat are British sourced. In addition to favourite Italian dishes, La Collina introduces visitors to less famous regional delicacies with seafood especially worth seeking out and the all-Italian menu equally worthy of attention. Modern but nonetheless unpretentious, the restaurant’s interior allows the menu to do the talking, both the ground floor dining room and the basement space, tucked away and accessible only by spiral staircase, decorated simply with a handful of modern prints and plain furnishings.

Birthday of my partner. Really lovely quiet evening at Collina. Service was attentive and respectful. Quiet enough to talk properly AND to enjoy the great atmosphere. Wine was very good and my wife’s food (mainly fish) was superb.

We had a family lunch on a Sunday. This is a gorgeous small restaurant with a focus on really great food. Fantastic wine selection. It’s bright and airy with simple decoration yet comfortable and really pleasant. Service was impeccable. We’ll certainly be coming back.

Local family restaurant in Primrose Hill. Friendly and good Italian food with fresh ingredients. Portions are large and prices are accordingly a little elevated no doubt to reflect that. Proper linen tablecloths and napkins. Altogether a good experience.

La Collina always gets it right. Food always a delight, envied my mate her sea bass, beautifully cooked. Tried the lunch special, the veal saltimbocca. Moist, flavoursome, and loved the rosemary potatoes.

Excellent Italian restaurant nestled in Primrose Hill area, came with good food, service and ambience. The crab pasta was fabulous, highly recommended.

We went to La Collina on a warm summer evening to enjoy dinner in their sheltered and private garden. As before it was a lovely evening. The food there is of a high standard- I had perfectly cooked lamb cutlets preceded by delightful pasta. The wine list is varied and not overly priced. Service is always good. Thank you.

La Collina has become my favourite local restaurant. It has been great to eat outside so many times this summer. The food is very consistent and always tasty. There is a reasonably priced wine list. I regularly recommend it to friends and it doesn’t disappoint.
