Every aspect of the meal was incredible. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines, steaks, parings, etc. We ordered 3 steaks for the table to share and each were delicious. Fun dining experience. I definitely want to return.
Excellent food as always. Hanger steak, gnocchi, sweetbreads, truffle fries, Brussels Sprouts are phenomenal. Wish the noise level was lower
One of our $60 steaks was chewy, but everything else was excellent! Cocktails are outstanding!
Super rude service at La Boca. Very white crowd. Overpriced. Would never return.
Always great food and awesome service. Love sitting at the bar. Cheese is amazing . Steaks are cooked perfectly . Desserts are good. Pisco Sour is my favorite drink. Can’t complain about anything. Staff is nice and accommodating . Will be back soon.
The food and service (Hannah) were great!!!
Second time, top shelf meal
We dine out OFTEN. VERY much think we're 'easy' and the type of patrons whom waitstaff droll over (patient, understanding, order GOOD wine, GREAT tippers). Our waiter at La Boca had a serious attitude. NO effort WHATSOEVER at making an effort to be congenial. My wife, in an attempt to 'break the ice' asked, "Did you have a good Easter?" Reply was, "I don't celebrate Easter." (this was said as he turned and walked away). This was just 1 example of the attitude exhibited by this guy. Now I could care less whether someone celebrates Easter or not.......if you're a waiter in a restaurant in which a 2 top table is going to spend well in excess of $200 (pre tip) MAKE A DAMN EFFORT. We may go back. If we do and the same waiter approaches our table I'll leave. Service can make or break a restaurant......this DESPERATELY needs fixing.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, and I highly recommend the tasting menu.
Both steaks were prepared incorrectly. Also skirt steak was lukewarm at the time is was delivered to table. The mashed potatoes were not the same as last visit. They was dry and with very little cheese. This was a very disappointing birthday dinner. We might visit again, third strike your done
La Boca has turned into our "go to" restaurant in New Orleans. We are frequent visitors to the city and when we are in the mood for steak - La Boca is the place. You can cut the hanger steak with your fork! And the seasonings they use don't get in the way of the natural flavors. Don't forget to try the garlic fries - meat and potatoes - you can't go wrong!
The food is simply perfection here, and paired with an amazing wine list. Whether you want to have a business meal or a romantic date, the atmosphere is cozy, yet stylish. The service was efficient without being too overbearing or forgetful. This is honestly the best place to get steak and gnocchi in the whole city. If you can manage to save room for dessert, those are very traditional, and not to be missed.
Wonderful food and helpful waitstaff. Louder than expected.
Ordered steak medium and it was served bloody rare. Took a while for server to even come back to check. Fairly large portions of sides. Bread served cold. Steaks and sauces had good flavor. Pricey a la carte.
My girlfriend and I experienced an amazing meal at La Boca. It was a romantic environment and the service was spectacular.
We loved our experience at LaBoca! Our food and wine were delicious, service was excellent, and the atmosphere wS great!
The steak special for that night was out of this world. Adolfo was in the dining area and ensured we had a great experience.
Always ask about the sowcials
Our steaks were cooked exactly how we ordered them. We had two different cuts and both were juicy and flavorful. We have been there a few times now and all the steaks have been wonderful. The side are all really good as well.
Empanadas were a little cold, but everything else was great
We tried the tasting menu and everything was phenomenal!!
Amazing as always! Our favorite date night spot for the last 10 years. 💜
Service great, food amazing, Get the brussel sprouts! All steaks at our table were perfect. - Pisco sours were spot on.
I am partial to South American Cuisine. I was seated at a table just inside the door, next to the bar, which was a bad start, and the only reason I gave ambiance 4 instead of five stars. I was right in line of traffic coming in, and where people stand waiting for their drink from the bar whilethey wait for their table. When I inquired about it, I was told that the restaurant generally seats singles at the bar. But since I had a reservation, they sat me at this table (punishment?). My recommendation is to move the table somewhere else, or put an elevated bar table or three there.
Anyway, that was the only negative experience I had there. The service was superb, and the food tremendous. Wonderful Pisco Sours, and beef cooked to perfection. Go with the fries. Not sure why it isn't rated in the top 10 restaurants in NOLA.
Do yourself a favor and eat here...twice if your schedule allows... you won't regret it!
Restaurant and the food was wonderful, but our waiter was not the most service oriented.
Waiter was pretty cool, awesome cocktails and perfectly cooked steaks. That’s the reason I go back as often as I do.
A slightly different take on a traditional steakhouse with an Argentine flavor. There were a few menu items you won’t find at a traditional steakhouse like lime and garlic marinated steak with avocado and beef empanadas. The focus is still on the steak however. A few of the options have different names than what I am used to seeing, but the waitress was very helpful in describing the different names for the cuts of meat. The steak was prepared well, everyone’s came out as ordered. The french fries were very good as well. There is a modest wine list a full bar. The service was excellent, attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The restaurant is smaller and the noise level was moderate. Convenient to the Warehouse district and not too far from the convention center. It’s a 15 minute walk from the French quarter. I would eat here again, but with so many other food options in New Orleans, that might not be for a few years.
From the delicious handcrafted cocktails through appetizers and sharing several types of steak plus sides - totally delicious !! The truffle fries always amazing , yummy brussel sprouts so good ...finished with dessert sampler , just WOW !!
Happening place with a great bar for meeting friends and the best food around town !
It was great
The food was delicious!

FAMILY GET TOGETHER FOR 7 PEOPLE, PROMPTLY SEATED FOR OUR
8:15 RESERVATION. WAITER VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH BOTH
THE MENU AND WINE SELECTIONS OUR GROUP HAD THE TASTING MENU.
THE APPS WERE GREAT. DIFFERENT STEAKS WERE
ORDERED, EACH ONE WAS COOKED AS ORDERED AND WERE DELICIOUS.
WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK
La Boca is always consistently wonderful.
Although they are known for their steaks (which are fantastic) don't miss the side dishes. They have the best fries in New Orleans and the gnocci are out of this world!
Amazing as always! From the service to the outstanding food. Best steaks in Nola!!
Beautiful steak! Too much garlic on vegetables. Overall a lovely experience.
The food and service were outstanding. I really liked the variety of steaks they offer. It’s not often you see on a menu Hanger steak, Bottom sirloin flap, Spinalis and the variety of skirt steaks they offer, along with the usual cuts. Both our steaks were cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be back.
Went here for dinner with my husband and some of our co-workers and had an absolute amazing time. The appetizers, steaks, sides, desserts and drinks were incredible! Our waitress and the rest of the staff who took care of us (shout out to Hannah!) We're so friendly and took such great care of us. We love this place and are always happy to bring friends here.
Everything was perfect the food was very good and the service was top notch
Great ambiance and outstanding service.
