   Food was absolutely atrocious. Ordered the surf and turf and for $48 the steak was something comparable that you would find scraps of at Walmart. Gristle running throughout the steak, etc. Would’ve brought it to the servers attention, but he never came back to check on us. The bus had taken our plates and we still waited an additional 20 minutes for him to come by and let us pay. Absolutely disappointing experience.

   I had the sesame crusted yellow tail. The kids meal came with an adorable bear cut out. The dessert was delicious. Overall It was amazing and the service was great!

   Everything was gods except the waitress was so pushy and made us uncomfortable. We couldn’t relaxed because she was rushing us.

   First time dining with Kona Grill, reservation for 3. Kona has 3 fixed, 3 course dinners, $40 each. Main entrees being steak, pasta, or sushi. We each picked 1. Food was 3/5. Drinks ordered 5/5. (Passion fruit margarita, electric lemonade) Service was great, ensured we were satisfied throughout each course by clearing plates every course and keeping our glasses filled. 4/5 stars.

   We got there and the parking is a little tricky so go with some time to spare. The service and food were on point I had the ribs and my fiancé had the fillet miñon cooked perfectly. Drinks were reasonably priced . Overall a nice date night. Thanks KONA!

   Kona Grill used to be Ana ing food at a fair price. Now, prices have doubled, even tripled on some of our favorites, and you get less. My favorite roll was $12….now it’s like $19. And we ordered some apps, which were shocking to see our usuals being placed on the table, with barely enough to share…..the chicken skewer appetizer came with one skewer, for $3….it was so ridiculous to see as it was placed in the center of the table. How are you supposed to share one skewer? We understand that inflation is a thing, but it’s not even worth coming here any more. Anyway….we have chosen a new place for happy hours and fairer pricing. Sorry Kona….

   Sushi was nice, sake was good, tuna tartare was pretty good. Overall okay. Inside was LOUD so grateful for an outdoor table (though the composite boards of the table were fractured and had to avoid coming into contact with those!). The service was excellent. The food fair - when sushi rolls are too big I always feel like they are trying too hard. I could barely fit the sunset roll on my mouth. The sashimi was also fair - nothing wrong but it just wasn’t the rock star I’ve had elsewhere. And the tuna tartare was the same, fair. The prices were ridiculous! 2 people: 1 app, 1 sale, 2 orders of sashimi and 2 rolls for $180. That’s way too much for a meal I would grade as “fair.” Tampa has some incredibly tasty places that are way more affordable. Sadly, I won’t be back to Kona.

   Food and Service are amazing. the Picasso roll is simply the best on the menu. Prices are way to high for consistent dining, but it is a nice experience that is enjoyable enough to keep coming back. Our server was great as well.
