   Apps were very good, service was great. But what used to be one of my favorite ribeye stops completely disappointed me. It was a Denny's piece of meat and potatoes were below average. for the price, definitely not a value. My wife ordered white Tuna, taste was pretty good, but 3 pieces for $45, wow! Most likely will not go back.

   Terrible food. We waited 1 hour 20 min . The sea bass arrived overcooked served over something else overcooked, my chicken was super dry and bland, and my husband’s “medium” sliders were well done on burned buns. I told the manager we were there for my birthday dinner and he said he’d come to our table in a minute. A different man shows up to comp the food, not the wine I ordered and no apology. Very disappointed birthday.

   Our experience left us underwhelmed. Service was mediocre and food was not special. Its a disappointment to me because it was once one my Plaza favorites.

   The place has changed. The menu is different and the prices are high. I used to love Kona but I can’t recommend it anymore.

   It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Kona Grill. The quality seems to have dropped a little considering what you’re spending and comparing to other sushi restaurants in the area. It wasn’t bad by any means but not great enough for me to come back if I want sushi.

   We were sat for 20 minutes and nobody had come by. I went up to the hostess to let her know. I wasn’t even upset. I just wanted them to know. But then was given the response “Well, we have a full restaurant” with an attitude. The waiter then came and got our orders. No apology for the wait or anything. The rest of the meal was fine. Food was decent, but not worth the price.
