   The server was nice. The food took forever to come out, so that’s probably the kitchen’s fault. The worst part was the incredible expense of the food. Amazingly overpriced for bland basic food.

   This is one of the worst meals and values I’ve ever encountered. $49 per person for “bottomless” brunch. There was no children’s price and the food was so bad. Barely edible. Server was barely functioning too. Complete idiot.

   Was looked over several times for my reservation was extremely packed not helpful. Didn’t use normal menu. Just the Mother’s Day brunch menu didn’t understand. I had an autistic kid with me. Didn’t understand. My mom couldn’t be in direct sunlight gave me an attitude when I asked for a normal menu we got up and left.

   Terrible experience for mother's Day. 1130 reservation but didn't sit until 1155. Had a prefix buffet.... Yes prefix, had to wait for a restaurant selection of food to arrive at table for a buffet, not go to buffet bar. This prefix concept didn't get us out first food portion until 1250.... Then they didn't have syrup, bacon, chicken fried steak and many core features of their limited prefix buffet. Our server was amazing helping us as best as she could along the way but she was helpless to the corporate plan. We enjoyed the brunch menu last year, but will absolutely not recommend or return next year.

   The Mother’s Day brunch menu was over priced $49 per person for cold pancakes, lukewarm warm eggs and undercooked bacon. The restaurant was not overly crowded but the brunch menu they planned may have been more than they could handle. There was a table close to us that actually left before their food came out.

   I was so excited to go out for Mother’s Day brunch but sadly our experience was pretty bad. Mother’s Day brunch menu was the only menu available today and it was $49.99 per person. Okay, not a problem since we both wanted brunch. This was not set up buffet style but instead was all “all you can eat” with the server bringing out 3 plates of food to share family style and then you can reorder refills of things that you finish and want more of. We waited 30+ minutes for our food (again, not a huge issue because we understood they were busy); however, all of the food was cold. And not just kind of cold but ice cold. Server was busy so we ate the cold food as our 4 year old was hungry and getting antsy. Not only was the food cold but it wasn’t good either. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs, the bacon was very undercooked, the cinnamon roll was hard, and most of the food tasted like it was frozen and just warmed up and then left out to be cold. I would expect better from a buffet, but I would definitely expect more from food that took so long to get in the first place (making us think it must be cooked to order). We waited for our check as our kid was over it at that point and we tried to pay on the little computer thing at the table, however our bill was wrong as we had been charged for unlimited mimosas that we did not order. While husband waited for the server to fix the bill and pay, I went to speak with the manager at the host stand to tell him about our experience. He seemed to not really care. He responded that we should have told our server the food was cold so they could have brought us new food. I explained to him that she was busy and our kid was getting antsy so we were unable to do so. His response was basically “sorry, thanks for the feedback”. So disappointing. I worked in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years and understand how crazy Mother’s Day is, but I still wouldn’t have tried to make it better before the customer left. He seemed not to care.

   Had 11am reservation and hadn’t been served by 12 so we left very bad day there

   It was Mother’s Day, and we were told when we sat down that we had to have the food that was on their Mother’s Day brunch menu and it was $50/person. We had to wait an hour to get our food, and it was horrible! The bacon wasn’t cooked all the way, the sausage tasted like plastic, and the eggs looked like they were cooked the day before. They served pancakes, without syrup, they served biscuits with no gravy, it was all just gross. The food was cold too. Plus, they made my 12 year old daughter pay for adult price. We won’t be back.

    We were there for Mother’s Day Brunch. The service was slow, even though they were not overly busy. The food was simply thawed from frozen and placed on a plate. Most of it was still cold. The bacon was undercooked. Basically, there was nothing about this experience that was anywhere close to the $49/person we were charged. We will not be going back to Kona Grill again, regardless of the occasion.
