While the food was good, the music was too loud to have a conversation at our own table (half empty restaurant at lunch). And at a restaurant where entrees are $30+, I expect full service, not be waved to check out my own bill on some game tablet tossed on the table. Kona, if you strive to be a nice restaurant, then BE a nice restaurant.

As a food critic I enjoyed dinner last evening. We had an outstanding waiter named James who was extremely attentive and made sure we had a great experience. The food was well served and drinks were excellent. Let me say the managers were very friendly and made sure everyone was happy with their meal. Thank you for a lovely evening. Lois V

We had to ask our server at least 5 times about our food. Still couldn't figure out what we ordered. We ended up getting up to get water or asking another server. It shouldn't have taken 50 minutes to get bar food and then it took another 4 trips from the server to get the rest of the appetizers. It had to have been the worst service ever.
