Service and food was amazing. My husband had the pork chop and I had the chicken with red beans and it was all absolutely delicious; we are visiting and agreed on our next trip we will ensure our hotel has a microwave and fridge so we can take home our leftovers, because it was that good :)

1 party member ordered Duck Breast, the presentation on the plate needs a lot more professional approach. The Chef or expeditor should have not sent the plate out like it was and the Chef should teach his staff on the proper slicing technique. The duck was cut like the cook had never sharpened his/her knife, did not look very professional, should’ve used a sliver of knife isn’t sharp. I’m only saying this because the table next to me had the duck and it was the same as our table. Apps and entrees were very good. Please be proud that your Gumbo made from scratch is on point for a French Quarter Restaurant.

The food was amazingly, the service was a bit delayed due to staffing it seems but excellent when it came. The food fire for the table that darn Pecan Pie! I have never liked Pecan Pie but that Kingfish Pecan Pie will have me making a special trip. The prices, I read on reviews were expensive, but you are paying for what you want, top notch food! I will definitely go back

Service was terrible. Had to ask for refills multiple times, didn’t receive what was offered on the coolinary menu and they did not communicate there was an issue with what was listed on the menu and the waiter asked for a cash tip.

My party and I thought several of our dishes were way over-salted. Everything else was great, especially the service. But if/when I return I’ll be sure to request a lower-salt preparation of the food.

Excellent food! Best shrimp & grits I’ve ever had, it was very flavorful, almost spicy. Awesome Pimms Cup as well. As someone who’s lived in NO for a long time it’s hard to find those things done well, especially in the French Quarter unfortunately. Service was lacking especially considering that we were one of the only tables seated and there were only two of us, getting orders taken and then delivered took awhile but server was very friendly but all the servers were hanging out together at another table eating while we were there at prime dinner time. But I would come back because the food and ambiance were so great!

Fantastic food. Waitress was great! Large party backed up the kitchen so it took almost 45 mi utes to get our dinner. Excellent value for food you get.

We have always loved this restaurant so everyone can have a bad day. Went in for brunch. My husband had the bbq hollandaise biscuits-delicious! I ordered the brunch jambalaya risotto that I have had in the past and have loved. It was so greasy I couldn’t eat it. Again, not usually how it comes. Our waiter seemed new, which was fine, but he was so soft spoken I had to ask him to repeat everything he said. When he brought the bill he asked if we could tip him in cash! That was a new request for me. In my opinion, not really appropriate.

We chose this place based on a friend's recommendation. Our experience was a mix of very good and just okay. We were there on a quiet weekday, so we had no wait. The service was good, and food came out in a reasonable time. For appetizers - the beet salad and jambalaya risotto were both very good (even though it was just rice and not really risotto). The steak and red beans and rice were well-received but the shrimp and grits was sent back after 2 bites. Both the catfish huey and gulf fish were just okay. Neither packed much flavor, which was surprising. I had seen other reviews raving about them. Overall, we had a nice time there. The ambiance was pleasant and I could see this as a good place for a group/team dinner.

We enjoyed our complete experience. The food was absolutely great. Each dish accomplished the flavors expected. The service was good and felt like a natural personal experience. Including the greetings from the bar attendant. Thank you for a memorable experience.

I ate at many good restaurants in New Orleans, this was not one of them. The service was bad, the pasta had no flavor, and the prices were very high for what we got. The wine list was also sub par. I would go to Cochon or Peche, they both had great service and delicious food.

Our waiter, Kendall, was awesome! He was personable, prompt, attention, and helpful, giving us advice on what to eat, drink, and do in our short time in NOLA. The boudin boulettes were fantastic and filling. We had the Seafood au Gratin and the Blackened Hook and Line. The best fish and Brussels sprouts I’ve had in a long time! Great spot.

Another confirmation that Kingfish is back! As I often do, I combined two starters, but there are plenty of good mains. The beet salad had a good balance of ingredients (you don't run out of anything) and is a quite generous portion. Same goes for the jambalaya risotto, The free bread service is also very good and complemented both dishes. Wine by the glass is limited to the standards, but the quality and price are excellent. Deana's service was friendly, very attentive, and she *listened* to what I asked for (or about). A Monday evening in the summer was quiet--would not guarantee that on a weekend, which in my experience is pretty lively.

Thee absolute best food. First time in New Orleans so we had no idea where to eat. A shop owner recommended this place. We went Friday and Saturday evening. Seafood pasta was to die for. Had crab cakes and fried green tomatoes exceptional to say the least. Service was top notch and drinks were phenomenal. I’d fly in just to eat here.

Well, all is well in the world. The jambalaya risotto is back and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for adding it back. Everyone had the risotto because of how much I raved about it. Loved that manager remembered us being in there in December 2022 and being disappointed that the jambalaya risotto not being on the menu and pushed to have it added back. By far my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Cant wait to be back for our 5 year anniversary in a couple of months.

First time there. Server, Chris, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our food was prepared as requested, and delicious. Chris kept our drinks full and accommodated every request. Spouse had blackened swordfish, and it was delicious. I had scallop pasta, and it too was incredible. I wanted to try the pecan pie, but we were too full from the entrees to eat another bite. I would definitely return here.
