Very nice , modern decor, good table by window, excellent server. Presentation of food artful. Watermelon salad was wilted and NOT worth $19! Octopus beautiful and tender. Fried chicken came with a great salad and jalapeño cheddar bread. Could have shared, large portion. In all, nice place for Wailea hotel prices.
The chefs are always graciously accommodating of our dietary needs and requests, and the food and service is always wonderful. Our favorite restaurant!
The food, the service, the view = 100% everything was so enjoyable!
Food here is a unique and well thought through options. Limited menu, but the items are phenomenal! Our server John was amazing!
Servers were friendly, food was excellent, ambiance was beautiful.
We prepared for a fine dining but got very disappointed with the service and restaurant itself. Poor menu, some dishes were just a simple disappointment. How can you ruin grilled octopus? Simply grill it and serve with the right sauce ! They serve it with salad . It was sliced , served over salad , chewy and just not worth it..
stake appetizer was nothing special.
Ahi appetizer with huge tomatoes and ton of Mayo... ouch
The only dish I liked was the steak from big dishes .. wouldn’t recommend! Sorry chef
ka’ana dinner was hands down best meal of the trip! striploin steak may have been best i’ve ever had. sommelier & our server were both totally on their game. chef absolutely nailed everything. 150% would recommend if you have the opportunity. will return!
Quite expensive and a limited seasonal menu. But the food was absolutely delicious and the view incredible! Great service.
The service was excellent all the way around. Scrumptious dinner, we had the fish of the day and scallops. And the dessert, coconut ice cream sundae and strawberry cake are to die for.
Great food!
One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Even though the menu is still limited due to COVID, they brought back all the favorites like the Buttermilk chicken, hanger steak, and fresh fish. Always an amazing evening.
While visiting Maui we took our daughter to Ka’ana Kitchen to celebrate her 18th birthday. Our server was fantastic!! We ordered all the small plates, each as delicious as the next, as well as the risotto and Ahi Big Eye from the big plate menu. We highly recommend all the dishes and this restaurant overall.
This place was outrageously expensive and the food was good but the service was definitely outstanding. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant has an open kitchen concept. We sat indoors and had a front view of the action. Our kids had the fried chicken and it was delicious. My husband had the fish and I had the hanger steak. Portions are small compared to other restaurants.
Validated valet parking. Restaurant is inside hotel on bottom floor. Top tier dishes. 1 side and an entre dish is recommended for each person. Staff was a little busy with the patrons, but overall experience was amazing.
Would visit again
Quite a foodie destination as the dishes were well executed. Prices were a little high and portions a little small. Wine list was excellent and a number of good choices by the glass.
Small menu but delicious food. Kind of expensive but I guess that is Hawaii!
Very limited meal, and just ok preparation. Wait staff was great and we lived live music from below.
John Weishar our server was awesome! Thank you John!
Octopus and the catch were my favorite dishes. Definitely recommend getting a little of everything and sharing if you can afford it.
Food was delicious and great service.
Our server Tia was wonderful
Incredible food, amazing staff, and the perfect ambiance for any Maui date night.
Not a great value for money. Too expensive for value
One of our favorite restaurants in Maui. Must try!
The restaurant staff were all so very helpful! They were attentive and made us feel welcome. The food really exceeded all our expectations! We will be back for more :)
Good food. I found it very expensive. Had a table back of restaurant.
50th Bday. It was incredible. Highly recommend!!!
Food is a bit pricey but was delicious. We also enjoyed the live music
The food was better than we expected
VERY limited menu. We had a child and pregnant woman which made it difficult. They ran out of waffle fries and offered regular fries as a substitute and charged for them. In my opinion this should have been a comp. Our server Chris was fabulous but he was spread thin. It didn’t seem like he had any assistance as there was little to no pre-bussing until our next course arrived, no marking for the next course with the exception of entrees. Overall the team was courteous but they seemed understaffed. I know some of this is due to recovering from Covid and re-opening, however the lack of menu was extremely frustrating.
I got a cocktail that was sugary and watered down, didn’t enjoy it at all. Food was just OK.
This is a quality restaurant overall, but it is way over-priced for good but not outstanding quality food ($340 for three people PLUS tip. Meal included one drink each, shared one appetizer, shared one dessert, plus three entrées). Restaurant was noisy inside. Outside was above a bar with loud live music (drummer who sang, but not Hawaiian music). The manager was accommodating, and the server friendly. I love fine dining in a warm, comfortable environment. This wasn't it. (If you're staying at the hotel, which is beautiful, and you don't mind the cost or noise, I'd say, give it a shot.)
Extremely overpriced plus the food was not good. We’ll never go back.
Food was excellent but a little pricey for the serving. Desserts were not made on site and not worth the expense
Every course of Food was delicious from the apps to desserts!
Food was good, but was overpriced. When charging $50/plate I expect something more than basic grilled fish and sauteed vegetables.
Small portions with hefty price. Made kid’s chicken raw and had to do it twice! For the bday they brought us a cake and then charged us for it! Food was definitely tasty but not worth it.
Stayed on property and changed from morimoto to ka’ana based on looking up the menu—shouldn’t have. Menu only has a few offerings, currently. Didn’t enjoy the time as much as we expected to and the food didn’t live up to my expectations. Hubby said the Mahi mahi was good. The octopus wasn’t great and the risotto was just decent. Had potential but for some reason, it just didn’t quite meet the mark.
Amazing service and attention to detail.
The meal was fine, nothing great. Very noisy environment. A bit over priced for what we had.
