Awesome as always great spot food and staff fantastic
Blackened Drum and filets with debris sauce!
Our server was not up to the task. 2 of the 3 courses we ordered were never put in. The food was ok but I found a foreign object in my salad. The server said he had removed the salads from our bill but he didn’t. Twice they tried to bring us food and drinks that wasn’t for us. The same stuff was happening all around us at other tables. What a disappointment.
I always make it amuse stop when in NO.
K Paul’s spirit remains alive in the space.
First night in New Orleans and made reservations at K-Paul’s. We were not disappointed. Service was prompt and friendly. The waiter answered all our questions concerning the menu. Starters and entrees were served hot and were prepared as ordered. Portions were quite generous. We went on to eat dinner at 3 other establishments in the French Quarter during our stay and would put K-Paul’s at the top of our list.
It was my husband’s birthday, and they recognized our special occasion from hostess to every servers. Thank you for making it more special.
This was not the K-Pauls I remembered from years ago. It used to have a more upscale vibe and we dressed for that. The service was fine except that we had to ask twice for water. The food was very good and worth coming back for, the cocktails were good also. I would go back but I would dress more casually and it would not be my very first dinner option in Nola.
Had reservations-Seated without wait.
Service prompt and courteous.
Both our meals were excellent.
Appetizer and main entree were fantastic. We had gumbo and the fried crab leg appetizer and both were great and I recommend them. We had the blackened ribeye and blackened drum fish for entrees and again both were spectacular. I had bread pudding for dessert and it was not good. Very average at best. Our service was Sloooowwww!! But that was just our waiter I believe. Other tables seeemed to have no problems. Dress code was all over the map from caps shorts n t-shirts to dress pants and button down shirts and dresses. So go as u prefer.
Great place to try some New Orleans cuisine. We had the rabbit and shrimps
Water dripping from pipe on arm before the rainstorm even started in metal roof. Water pooled on floor during the meal. Bread not as delectable as last time we were here. Blackened drum fine; pile of flavorless crabmeat on top didn’t add. Salad nothing special. This was our last meal on this visit and we were hoping for more.
Food was good
The gumbo was great
Staff was very helpful and friendly
We had to walk out of the restaurant due to bad service. We did not receive drinks or appetizers after sitting there for an hour and were not even give a chance to even order our main courses. The restaurant was given the heads up in the reservation that this was for my wife’s 30th birthday. It was not a pleasant way to spend my wife’s birthday or our last night in New Orleans.
Our server had too many tables to pay attention the way he should have. I ordered veal and got one small piece for $32. We have been here many times and this was not what we expected from them. We will think twice before we go here again!
If you can’t decide - order a little of everything. Instead of an entree we always order numerous appetizers so that you get a little taste of all the famous dishes. Recommend the turtle soup!
Had a wonderful dinner for my birthday. ‘Dayton’ was a great server - very knowledgeable and attentive!
I never order fish at a restaurant and consider myself a steak person however i decided to go with the surf and turf because I heard nothing but great things about the fish. I tried the fish and let's just say it WAS AMAZING. It had a crispy seasoned edge to it and the fish was flaky. I then tried the steak and that was also very tasty, cooked just right and had a nice sauce on top of it. The sides were mashed potatoes and green beans and those were also very good.
I have to say that this was the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant. Would definitely come back when I visit New Orleans again
Service was extraordinarily slow and we didn’t get attention for drinks etc. our salads were literally plopped In front of us and dinners reached across. Food was okay but we had better at several other spots. Our fave was NOLAs.
The greeter at the door that evening should be fired, she was so rude!!! I specifically made a reservation for a table and she told me I would have to sit at bar. I made the reservation for 8:15 so I could sit at a table.
She was so rude I almost walked out, however, once I got past the rude greeter, everything went up hill. Food was very good.
Hostess seemed very unhappy to be working and fairly rude. Our server was wonderful though. I had the ribeye steak and it was average at best.
So glad a friend from NOLA recommended it. Terrific food and more reasonably priced than expected by far. Amazing!!
Great food and great atmosphere! Reasonably priced.
The food is to die for - the fried green tomatoes are divine - and the stuffed pork chop with the stuffed potato is mouth watering delicious. Ask for Ruth as your server - she’ll take great care of you.
Seems to me that this is another place in NOLA that has established a name for itself and then quit trying. I had the soft shell crab that was over cooked and no meat. The pasta that was under the crab was...pasta, nothing special. Salad was lettuce from a bag with not one tomato, no cheese, nothing...just lettuce.
Incredible! Food: perfect. Service: Excellent.
This is a very nice, comfortable restaurant, with great food and great service. We expected the best and got it!
Second time back and knowing what I was walking into made it more enjoyable! What a great job done by all the staff and chef's to hit the mark on everything. Try the Eggplant- it is one of the most memorable things I have eaten in a long time.
One of my favorite places to go while in New Orleans! Highly recommend! Great gumbo! The blacked drum fish was perfect. Service was excellent! Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely great food and service.
Everything was really good except the hostess was fairly rude.
Perfect, as always! Only disappointment was that we weren't able to sit on the balcony this time.
We had a wonderful experience at K Paul’s. The food was top notch and the service was great!
Waiter was always distracted from the very onset he came to the table and lasted throughout the entire meal. He seemed almost flustered like we were bothering him. The bottle of wine took 15 minutes to arrive to the table and yet it was sitting there at the bar when I saw him finally go and get it when I flagged him down.
Food was exceptional and delicious, service except the young lady receptionist who took us from one to another table (!?) without any spoken word just giving us hand signs, pointing fingers.... so unusual and strange ?
Our servers, Zach and Dayton were outstanding. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend it.
Our favorite spot in NOLA!
The one restaurant in New Orleans we try to go to every time we visit
Food was good, Caesar salad was bland. They forgot the rice in the gumbo. Items came out in wrong order, one person got meal 15 minutes before the rest of us. Drink had something black in it, they took it away and ever replaced it. For a 250 dollar meal we expected better. The surf and turf and pork chop were really good! The green onion dressing was really great!
Every item was excellent (breads, soups, appetizers, and main courses). Best restaurant in New Orleans, and I have been to most of them.
