JT Schmid’s was established in 1997 on a simple premise – to offer a splendid variety of the finest California cuisine and microbrews under one roof. California Cuisine best describes our diverse menu. We offer cuisine from all corners of the world. The centerpiece of our kitchen is a wood-burning brick oven which generates gourmet pizza and other of the Chef’s creations. Other specialties include Seared Ahi, Sweet Potato Fries, Jambalaya, and Steaks & Seafood.

Beer selection and service were very good. However, at $20.95 the fish & chips were overpriced. In addition, they were dry. Secondarily the wings were meaty, but didn’t have a lot of heat or flavor.

Very average food for the price.

The cherry mule was delicious, but the service was poor (it took FOREVER to get our food even though the restaurant was empty) and there were no vegetarian meal options.

Picked this restaurant based on the great reviews. While server was top notch, the quality and taste of food was sub-par (fish tacos, tasted off and chips were stale). Hostess took five minutes to seat us even with reservations, not crowded and three of them at the arrival area.

JT Schmid's has a great variety to their food menu and has great service overall. Like with any brewery, they have a good selection of their own beer. Good atmosphere and is perfect if you are going to a Ducks game or other event at the Honda Center across the street. The only thing they could improve on would be their dessert menu. Great place overall though.

Had early 5:45pm reservations for Valentines Day with many booths available but they tried to seat us at a table. We requested a booth and was then escorted to the one booth right outside the server kitchen with approx 6 more available in that same row. I had just signed up for their loyalty program and the host/hostesses and server knew nothing about it so I had to ask our server to check with the Manager. Finally was told they don't give cards anymore but instead they use the phone number. The final thing was we had both ordered the Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken. It was so salty neither of us could finish it. If I didn't have a bad cold, I would've fought this bill but we called it a night. FYI - The Manager was never seen visiting tables, just standing on the ramp outside the servers station watching the Olympics. We'be been here quite a bit but after this visit, probably won't be going back.

Our waitress was very helpful answering any questions that we had. We started off with a poke appetizer which was amazing. We also had a bowl of chili which was delicious. For dinner I had the mahi tacos which were ok. The fish was pretty dry. My date had a French dip that was amazing.
