Dining at any of our restaurants is a homecoming of sorts where guests can relax, enjoy each other's company, and celebrate life's big moments and small rituals. That communal approach is an extension of what we value as a business; tradition matters; family is important; serve your community.
service was great Food was good. Not as good as last time.
We love Johnnys. The food is amazing.
My wife and I have been fans for over 50 years. We celebrated our 62nd anniversary Sunday and all was perfect. If I have any suggestion it would be for you to address the sewer type smell that is evident when entering the foyer. It seems to dissipate after entering the restaurant.
Thanks to you and your staff for being consistently Great.
As usual, good food. The service would have been 5 star but our waiter (who was very busy) didn’t ask if we wanted desert and just put the bill on the table. We did want desert and coffee but he seemed so rushed, had already dropped off the bill, so we decided just to have desert and coffee at home.
As always the food was superb. Service was excellent.
Perfect place when you're missing your Nona's pasta e sugo. Friendly place, obliging service, big portions or well-made, classic southern Italian dishes. Dining room a touch dated but comfortable, overall a very nice place to enjoy a good meal.
It was as good as always. Having been there before on several occasions, I never fails. Food was great. Service was good and friendly. I'll go back
Food and service were great! Decor is terrible and there was a musty smell throughout the restaurant, which took away from the good food experience. Full renovation is in order.
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was so
delicious! Thank you.
Great food and service at very reasonable prices.
My wife and I split the veal lemonada excellent and was more than enough for both of us. Serving sizes are huge. Service was great as usual. This is one of our favorite places.
Everyone seemed happy with their meals!
This is the first time at Cascone's that we have been disappointed. My husband & I split the Italian Flag platter. In the past this has always been served on a platter. This time the food was piled into a small bowl. I mean the chicken parmigiana was actually sitting on top on the very small portion of fettuccine and lasagna. The food itself was excellent as always but the presentation was a mess and it was difficult to eat. This was last Sunday so maybe chefs need to be reeducated on presentation.
Good food, good service, but the sewer smell ruined our experience.
Fantastic food! Can't wait to dine here again. Probably this week with a friend!
Food was awesome and so was the service.. thank you
Food was fantastic! I am from an Italian family from the NY/NJ area and this food compared to what my family or local restaurants would prepare! I have been back four times in ten days! See you next week!
Priced have increased!! Used to be our favorite place, now we don’t go very often,
It was extremely warm in the restaurant - we both ended up sweating through the meal. Good was good. Waitress was kind.
We checked in for our reservation but left immediately after being seated due to an extremely strong smell of sewer throughout the entire restaurant.
classic food and always reliable. Never had a bad meal here.
Cascones is great, fun old school Italian place. The Italian flag is fantastic. Good wine selection and great menu choices. The place is a little dated but its also charming at the same time. We got 2 dishes, an appetizer and drinks and a bottle of wine and it was 130 with tip.
There's a raw sewage smell near the front of the restaurant. The pasta sauce was too sweet, tasted canned, and there was too much of it. The tiramisu was good. Overall, I found it overpriced, especially considering the quality, the run down ambiance, the paper "table cloth", and the aloof wait staff.
There must have been a sewer problem cause the smell was horrible, but we chose to stay. But our waitress, Karen, was not friendly at all. So even tho the food was good, the whole dining experience was not.
Classic Italian restaurant serves traditional dishes and has a huge drink selection. Try the Italian Flag combo.
Enjoyed a relaxed late lunch with my dad. Service was great! Fried Mozzerella is delicios and unlike any I've had.
Cascone's has been a staple in our family for years
From the time we arrived til departure the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. It was Fathers Day and the families began to arrive. It was getting close to being full when we left around 2:30. We are frequent customers, and keep going back for the delicious food, family atmosphere, and wonderful wait staff. Thank you for the continued top notch food and service.
My wife and I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and this was the first time the food was not 5-stars. The alfredo sauce was very thin and didn't have much taste. We plan to return hoping this was simply an "off-night."
Loved our service and food was awesome and served right on time. Not rushed and not waiting! We had reservations at 530 and were unfortunately seated right by the front which was super noisy with staff conversations. Outside of that it was a great celebration
Cascone's lasagne is always amazing -- the sauce & meatballs scrumptious. The dipping sauce was not as good as it usually is. Bread - spectacular. Stuffed mushrooms decadent.
We were a bit disappointed in our waitress. It felt like we were being rushed -- half way through our salads, meal arrived - half way through our dinner, we were asked if we wanted boxes. Then the check came and she hovered in our area until we placed our credit cards in the folder -- and then hovered again -- picking up the checks quickly.
We have come to expect a certain level of service at Cascone's over the last 30+ years. Tonight was an off night. We generally have plenty of time to catch up -- and tonight was rushed. We'll be back -- will ask for a different waitress.
Had a wonderful meal, as always, at Cascone's. Met some of my classmates for my 45th College class reunion and had a wonderful time. You can hear yourself think and also hear the conversations of your friends without loud noise and loud music. I recommend Johnny's for all your celebrations.
It has been a year since we last visited Johnny Cascone's. On this visit, a Saturday evening using Open Table for reservations for 7:30 pm, we arrived and the place was empty. We were seated and the waitress took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer after we pointed it out on the menu which appetizer we wanted. She brought out the appetizer which was not what we ordered. She then brought out our salads and soup, both soups were cold. The waitress was apologetic and nice but we feel she should have known the soups were not being kept warm in the kitchen. The rest of the food was good, not great, I don't think we will be back.
An enjoyable experience, good place for dinner if conversation is important.
Smells like a sewer as you walk in. Not very appetizing
Consistently delicious! We enjoy the neighborhood ambiance.
Food was outstanding! Our waitress was probably the best that I have ever had!
Moderately busy night. Service and food both good.
Wonderful food tonight. They had a great special tonight. Will be back
