   Our first time catching happy hour on Friday evening. Enjoyed having several items from the HH food list... calamari (always a favorite for us since it is GF), Brussel sprouts, and bacon wrapped shrimp. I liked the Pom Margarita while hubby stuck w his all time favorite lemon drop since they do it just right. He spoke high praises of the bread pudding while I savored the Nonino Amara after dinner wine. As always, service, atmosphere, food and drinks were right on target, providing a delightful evening.

   Always a great place to have a relaxing meal anytime of day. After traveling all day from Texas on our way to our summer mountain home, we chose to have an early dinner at Jay's. Dependable, reliable, great service and food!

   Jay's has been a staple in Fort Collins for more than the 30 years I've lived here, however the quality of this meal was sub par unfortunately. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but the portions were small, the food was not cooked properly and it was not as fresh as it should be. Some was overcooked, some undercooked, and at least one dish was not at all as described and disappointing. Desserts were absolutely fantastic though. Prices are still really high, so I'm very hopeful that the quality of the food comes back up. I will give in another try and hope for the best.

   We particularly like to eat at Jay's when the Jazz folks are there, Thur, Friday. Ambience is great, beautiful restaurant., plenty of parking after 6pm. Food is very good and we don't mind spending the extra bucks.

    Disappointed in food selection. Advertised 30 different omelets there was only 2 and the first time thru the hard to negotiate line there was only a vegetarian omelet. Hard to move a lid off a serving dish hold your plate and serve yourself. Salads weren’t well stocked when I went through.

    Mother’s Day brunch was fabulous!!!! We’re so glad it came back. My 7 year old loved the chocolate fountain! The food was just delicious, everything was great! Our server was so nice and attentive. We’ll be back again!

    First of all the food was amazing and we went for their Mother’s Day brunch, so if that was that amazing cooked for such mass I am excited to go try their regular menu!! The staff was all friendly and attentive, really enjoyed chatting with the/one of the chefs while he prepared shrimp pasta at the pasta bar. The atmosphere was so great, comforting and fancy all together!

    We had a wonderful Easter Brunch at Jay's. The food was excellent and we particularly loved the lamb. The service was prompt. The only thing that would have made it better would have been asparagus or another vegetable in addition to broccoli. The desserts were fun.

    There were several of us for Easter Brunch. Plenty of tables that could accommodate a larger group. Reservation was easy and we even modified it to add more, again they were great. We also have several people with food intolerances and they were kind in accommodating us. Chef made sure to check that we had what we needed and happy to help. Which made the day so much better. Because of our food concerns we haven't had Easter Brunch out in years. This was memorable and delicious! We would come back for this, and for dinner another time for sure.

    Jay's has been a family celebration standby for many years. We have celebrated many birthdays and special occasions there, and it has always been consistently good. Well, until last night, when I would put it in the "Fair" category. The food was for the most part very good, but where the evening went south was the service. Having been a restaurant server for many years I am always "pro server" and willing to give a lot of grace to the people who I know work so hard for not much compensation. However, last night the service was mediocre at best. He was a really nice guy and tried very hard, but we realized he was also working a large birthday party in the room next door, and because of that we were pretty much ignored, especially at the end of our meal. After we finished we sat for a long time before he finally appeared and asked if we wanted dessert or anything else, and by that time we were done and anxious to move on. It also took a very long time to get our check. Meanwhile, the three tables in our area had a lovely gal who spent a lot of time chatting with her customers and getting what they needed right away. The best thing to have done was to have her take over our table and let our guy give his best to the large group. Overall, we didn't leave Jay's with a warm fuzzy feeling like we have in the past and that is disappointing. Next time we have a family occasion we might be back, or we might give another restaurant a chance.

    Had my birthday dinner at Jay's last night. First time to Jay's, went there because of reputation and internet reviews of Jay's, menu looked good. Very disappointed; food was OK, but not nearly good enough for the prices charged. My pork chop was good, but not impressive. Potatoes were terrible: fried cuts instead of the "roasted red potatoes" on the menu. My wifes tournadoes were good, but spring roll appetizer was salty and made with a "block" of some type of substance rather than individual components; weird and not what we'd expect from a fine restaurant. More like a meal at Texas Steakhouse than an upscale restaurant.
