We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

    We never miss having at least one dinner at Jax each visit to Boulder. Always a great experience and this was no exception. The three of us enjoyed our entrees (scallops, blackened catfish and Cacio e Pepe) as well as the chocolate cake. Though, I wish they’d bring the butterscotch pudding back (hint hint). Fab wines and stellar service from Gavin!

    Got seafood platter and the boiled lobster and langutisne was cooked way too long and was tasteless. Server and restaurant besides that was great.

    An absolutely wonderful meal. One of the best fish meals I've had since leaving the West Coast. The sides were creative and very tasty.

    Outstanding food. Go for the scallops! Sadly our table was all the way in the back, almost in the kitchen…. which killed the ambiance. Your experience will probably be better than mine.

    An outdoor table at Jax is always fun enjoying great food and service while watching the world go by. Gray, our server was delightful and highly attentive! We had a lovely evening.

    Food was amazing! Had oysters, French fries, scallops, ahi tuna! So good! Two top in the bar area and along the wall are the best, otherwise you’re pretty much eating with your neighbors! Not much room in that place. That’s the only downfall
