Brought out of town guests and everyone loved it even with several complicated dietary restrictions. Everyone who stopped by our table was so friendly! Standouts were new style fish, Corazon plate, raw scallop, farm old fashioned and the special nonalcoholic cocktail, but everything was delicious in its own right. Can't wait to go back!

If you are a sushi fan, then you will be quite disappointed as you will already know the quality of the sushi rolls by the taste of its rice. Over rates and over priced. Nothing special unfortunately and we had higher expectations as it has a nice review in the local magazine. Service is great though!

My husband and I frequently eat a late lunch at Japango. Usually we do not bother making reservations but this was a special occasion -- catching up with an old friend. We all had bento box lunches. Two of us had the special of the day, which was not a particularly good choice because the main event was shumai, not very suitable. Should not have gone with it. However, the ambiance was very nice, as usual and the server pleasant. We could talk easily, which is becoming all too rare at restaurants these days. Japango deserves a lot of credit for that. We wanted to keep on talking and have some coffee. Discovered then that they do not serve coffee. Very odd!

We filled out the paper menu with our sushi/plate choices, but when the order came to our table it was incomplete. The marked second side had been missed. So my husband had to eat his choices solo while I watched and waited for my plate to be assembled and served. Not fun.

Food was delicious & not your same ol’ Japanese fare. Server was fantastic - she could teach others! A bit noisy but we arrived at end of Mother’s Day/Graduation weekend lunch hour. Got noticeably quieter after about 1:30. Grandson loves the jellyfish tanks - mesmerizing. Intriguing flavors really set this place apart.

I have a couple allergies and Mike the manager and my server TJ were so helpful with that! The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. I had a couple rolls, nigiri, and their non alcoholic drink with pineapple and chili. The drink was phenomenal! I would highly recommend Japango.

Wonderful experience. Staff were friendly and personable. Food was amazing - be sure to try the Magic Mushrooms (that do not contain any actual mushrooms). To die for. It was busy, but we had great service, and the restaurant space is designed so that the noise was not overwhelming - my husband and I could easily carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. The sushi is outstanding. We couldn't stop raving about the fresh flavors. Will definitely be making the drive to Boulder again just to come back to Japango.

We enjoyed a great meal here served by a knowledgeable and friendly server on a busy Saturday night. Our cold sake was dry and elegant, and the nigiri buttery and clean-flavored. The special rolls we ordered sounded better than they were - good but not especially interesting, and the chocolate cake was somewhat dry, but the accompanying sesame seed brittle outstanding.

This is my second time visiting [restaurant name] where I brought along another group of friends because of the amazing experience I had the first time. The lunch box that I had was delicious except that the miso soup was a little too salty. Other than that, the food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional!
