Jake's is a casual, upscale European-style bistro nestled in a secluded courtyard at the epicenter of the Mid-Century Uptown design district of Palm Springs. Much like the architectural and style artisans that surround it, Jake’s takes cues from the past with a nod to the future in the kitchen and behind the bar. Classics are given a surprising twist while new flavor combinations excite the palate. Likewise wines come to us from both New and Old worlds. Of course, save room for something from our signature dessert case! Since 2007, Jake’s has offered al fresco dining as well as seating in our cozy dining room. So join our friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch!

    Another fabulous experience at Jake’s! We sat at the bar for lunch and had wonderful service from the bartender, Josh! The food was excellent …tried the coconut shrimp, so delicious…I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the Miami Vice, both were very fresh and tasty! It’s always a joy when the owners are there and make you feel so at home in their restaurant! We always love our experiences at Jake’s!

    As always the best.. and the owners are always so accommodating, friendly.. True pride of ownership.. That Turkey sandwich was amazing.. and their fried pickles to die for.. They also make their own chips every morning at 7AM..Its really a great dining experience.. and i just love their new decor and the expansion..

    We always go to Jakes when we stay in P.S.. There has been a remodel since our last visit. We were less than blown away but the food was still good, maybe we are getting long in the tooth? The chicken Piccata was very good, the caesar salad was good. Expected. The deviled eggs were delicious. The one thing I would mention is that if you want pasta, go to an Italian restaurant. Pasta is touchy, it has to be served immediately, especially if it is not a sauce prepared in a pan. The Princess cake was good. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I love that they have such a large following!

    I travel to Palm Springs at least once a year for work and I always make sure to eat at Jake’s. I always get the Rack of Lamb and it’s always perfect! The desserts are also incredible! They’ve under new ownership and have remodeled the restaurant since last year and they did an incredible job! Also, met the new owners tonight and they were so nice. If I’m not back in October, I’ll definitely be back in April next year and I’ll definitely be coming back to Jake’s!

    Jake’s was as usual an excellent experience. The hostess remembered me and greeted me by name. We were a bit early for our reservation and they graciously seated us immediately. The food was excellent. The Miami Vice Salad is fantastic. It has x-large fresh shrimp and a lemon/Lime dressing with capers…yumm! The waiter was pleasant and swift. All in all excellent.

    You can usually get a decent meal at Jake's. It's a very pleasant venue with lots of filtered light on the interior patio.
