   Sam are waiter has been waiting on us for quite a few years. He did a fantastic job. The food was phenomenal.  I’m not gonna tell you what I had to eat because it was just too good. Thank you Sam for taking care of us tonight.

   Our waitress forgot to tell us her name and told my brother Happy Mother’s Day, lol. But she was very friendly and very present which is awesome service in my book. My steak was juicy and flavorful and the Horchata bread pudding should have been ordered as a double, yummy.

   David was really good very good service and excellent customer service. Really helpful when it came to the menu. The food was great and hot when it came out . Love the place. Will be back to visit.

   1st visit. Terrific Mother’s Day lunch with my two favorite Moms. Wine section was excellent, as was service. Side dishes (grilled asparagus, baked potato, cream/mash potatoes, almond green beans, creamed corn) were delicious. Kitchen severely over-salted 3 otherwise perfect filet mignons. Damn. Maybe that is the signature meat seasoning at J Gilbert’s?

   Dined here with my significant other for a birthday celebration and they did not disappoint! We both ordered from the three course menu. I chose Crab Bisque, New York Strip with grilled asparagus and au gratin cauliflower. He had the Wedge salad, Filet Combo with scallops, sautéed mushrooms, and spinach for sides. Expect to drop $100+ per person - minimum - for a three course steak dinner. It is pricey, but the food was five star across-the-board, every bite perfection!

   Our experience last night was above average. The drinks were sent back a few times. The seafood platter was fine, except the salmon was over cooked. The peach sorbet was a winner.

   Went in for a birthday celebration and our server Scott was amazing! He was so attentive and thoughtful. The food was delicious!

   Love this restaurant and always have great food and service. This time my steak was not up to the normal standards , which was very unusual. However, I was compensated for it and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

    I have been to J. Gilbert's several times. They have always provided excellent food and service. I will forever be a customer!
