Our cuisine is country French and Italian with a New Orleans influence. Although a majority of our seating is available for walk-in guests we do take reservations. While you wait we have a piano player and serve cocktails. We look forward to serving you.

    I have been going to Irene’s since the beginning, when she was first on St. Phillip and Charters. I have never had a bad experience there. Food is always perfection as is the entire experience.

    Absolutely fabulous dining experience- and 1 of best in city!! Delicious escargots, refreshing watermelon salad, huge fried soft shell crab followed by trout topped with crabmeat…..and finished off with their famous ricotta cheesecake topped with strawberries…..and EVERYTHING was right in the world🍷!!!! Have to commend Claudia for excellent service. Thanks for always making it a special nigh- Irene’s!!!

    Experience that our rain was fabulous AJ our server was detailed in guiding us through the highlights. Ambience is old school Italian nooks and crannies throughout the restaurant to minimize level. The outdoor courtyard seating is seasonal and we were enjoyed the view. The restaurant is filled with locals, we should tell you everything you need to know.

    Irene’s is a must visit on your trip to New Orleans. However, if you have a dairy allergy, there are not a lot of choices. Everything is incredibly delicious especially the Paneed oyster salad! I had the duck, which was just incredible as well with filet mignon that my daughter had.
