   I expected it to be good from reviews but OMG! Our server Kelli was an amazing experienced server that had perfected alertness without hovering. As we were not planning to order anything with Irene’s famous red sauce, she suggested that we try the meatball appetizer Best red sauce ever - not kidding. As to the entrees we ordered, the duck was perfectly prepared and the portion could have easily fed two (and, yes, I consumed it all myself - HA!). My wife had the fish and was fully satisfied. We cant wait to go back.

   Our waiter, Sugar Bear, was very sweet and attentive. He made good recommendations and really made our dinner experience memorable. The mussels were delicious along with my osso buco and the cheesecake. And the lasagna is always great!

   Local but 1st time at Irene’s. Very impressed. Michael provided fantastic service. Will be back soon.

   First time dining and it was a great experience. As a vegetarian, I had trouble finding dishes to eat. Ended up with two salads. Walked away hungry. My friend, however, was very satisfied with his meal. I would certainly go back. Will just have to eat something ahead of time.

   This was our first visit to Irene's. We decided to go based on the photos of the interior, the menue and comments by fellow Open Table members. The interior is beautiful and has a rustic elegance, a nice bar with a piano player after 6pm and a beautiful courtyard. Our dinner was excellent as well. We both had a roasted beet salad followed by lamb chops which were perfectly prepared. Our server Hunter was excellent. He made sure our appetizers and main course didn't overlap. He also gave us a little tour of the several dinning rooms each with it's own character. I must mention the dress code which is described as business casual; it's not. We felt way over dressed with a sportcoat (no tie) and a dress. Most dinners had shorts, t-shirts and jeans. Nothing wrong with that but it's getting harder to find a place to go to if you "want" to dress up. A classy place like Irene's would be perfect if the dress code was in fact business casual. With that said, it will not keep us from coming back again.

   Demetrius was a delight. Food amazing- mussels, Caesar, lasagna and Steak. Bread pudding for dessert.

    The food here is terrific. When the crab cakes are on the menu, get them! You won't regret the crab-cake tower.
