   This evening was magical, from the second I booked a reservation until the minute we left, I couldn’t have dreamed up a more romantic evening. The manager after receiving my message requesting a nice table for two because it was my anniversary, reached out and offered a package with rose petals, champagne and a chocolate cake desert for a small extra fee. Not only would I have ever know this, but whether you look at it as an upsell, it was an excellent option to be offered. Our waiter was gracious and prompt in every way. The food was wonderful and they obliged our desire to order something off the chefs tasting menu as an appetizer instead of the main menus appetizer (something a lot of restaurants won’t allow). I have worked for and created multiple food shows throughout my career, so food very much is a thing for me. Every dish we tried was fantastic and we definitely didn’t leave hungry. Drinks were phenomenal as well. Bottom line, if you’re looking for a romantic evening for two or even coming with a larger party, II Cielo won’t disappoint. We absolute will return.

   I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at il Cielo with my family. As a 15 year customer, I regret to say that it’s not what it used to be. The service has declined and wait times have increased significantly. Our experience was far from satisfactory. The food was not up to the usual high standard. On top of that, we had requested the usual flowers on the table like all the other times we had dined, only to be presented with old, wilted hydrangeas and lilies. Needless to say, we were very disappointed with the whole experience and won’t be retuning for a while.

   My God what a wonderful experience. Nino made it even all the more pleasant to be there. We hadn't been to this place in 20yrs because of the distance. The ambiance was lovely and romantic.    Very pretty place with very good food. My cocktail (strawberry Bellini) was also delicious and the tiramisu wonderful. Even the berries around the dessert were really good. If you’re looking for a romantic place sit inside. Perfect lighting and private. Outside bright and pretty especially for brunch. Beautiful restaurant

    This was pitched as a romantic spot. Granted, our reservation was for 6.15 but the place was full of families with children who shrieked throughout our meal. It was like eating in a bus station. Food was excellent. Just go late.

    Il Cielo deserves more than 5 stars. Everything was literally outstanding. First, exceptional reception on time and very courteous. We were lucky to have Walter for our table and he delivered an exceptional service above & beyond literally. The food was delicious as always. I definitely recommend them for exceptional service, lovely vibes and decor, and their delicious food. Today I chose Il cielo to celebrate my graduation because they are reliable and always on point, and I’m glad that I chose them for such occasion.

    Our group of six went for the Dine LA special and were delighted. the four course meal included a delicious lobster parparadella which was followed b a salad, choice of either rack of lamb or sea bass and then a choice of dessert. the rack of lamb included 5 generous chops in a great sauce; the sea bass was very good but not as special as the lamb. The chocolate soufflee was actually a molten chocolate cake and perfectly done. Service was very nice; we never felt rushed and were able to longer as long as we pleased/

    I thought the food was ok not a great value for the price and the service was average at best. For what we paid for the dinner I would expect exceptional food and Sevice . The ambiance was nice but that is where it ends. I was there for a birthday celebration with my family and I would definately choose another restaurant in the future. Extremely over priced

    Excellent service! Friendly, professional welcoming us to our table. You can tell they love their job! Makes a difference! Beautifully settled in courtyard w/bistro lights. Started off with a Italian manhattan highly recommend ! Salad w/fresh apple and almonds. Pasta seasoned perfectly! Food was amazing . Nothing left on our plates! Honestly, II CIELO never disappoints this IS A BELOVED classic gem !

    Specialty margarita was advertised with a tajin rim and came out with table salt instead. Very disappointing for a fine dining restaurant. Lobster was over cooked and chewy. Ambiance and service were the best part of the visit.

    This is my favorite restaurant in L.A./Beverly Hills. The staff is courteous and attentive. the ambience is incredibly calm, the restaurant is lovely, and the food delicious with an amazing presentation. This past visit I ordered the Tricolor Tortelli, my friends had the Chilean Sea Bass special and the Mediterranean Sea Bass. All were cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
