    Nice Father’s Day buffet. Was pleasantly surprised that over 65’s were charged half price! A great place to celebrate!

    What a fantastic experience! I’ve been to Oahu a few times and have walked by Hy’s. This is the first time I booked it. The food was absolutely fabulous! We started with a Waldorf and Wedge salad and were impressed! Then we had the Garlic steak, an Australian Steak, lobster tail, baked potatoes and Asparagus. Phenomenal! The steaks were seasoned perfectly, the lobster was tender and sweet and all was perfect! Finished up with the Chocolate flambé wow! And all this was topped by the extraordinary service of Rutger and DJ, the dream team. Get over to Hy’s to have a memorable Waikīkī experience!

    What a beautiful restaurant! We went there to celebrate a family member’s birthday, and it was absolutely gorgeous on the inside. Food and ambience were stellar. We will return when visiting Waikiki!

    We were celebrating our anniversary & it was our first time dinning with Hy's Steak House in Waikiki, to which we agreed; that the overall experience was amazing from start to finish. They have complimentary valet parking in which the gentlemen's that were working were very polite, upon entering the restaurant we had a very warm welcoming by their front desk staffs & we had one of them attentively guide us to our table by which she made sure that we didn't miss our step on the way there (they do have mini stairs with carpet flooring~ I wore heels so I really appreciated the care), once we were seated we were greeted by our assigned host & server; they were both so friendly & helpful throughout our whole dinning experience. Our host was very patient with us by answering all our questions & our server was kind enough to make sure our table was clean throughout every new dish we gotten (we had ordered 1 of their set menu); they both casually check in on us & made sure our food were to our liking. The amount of hospitality that we've received throughout the night was absolutely delightful, their staffing really made sure that you are well taken care of~ especially if your first time dinning with them.

    Everyone that helped my table was polite, friendly, and had knowledge about the type of steaks/cuts they serve. Jason checked on us while our main waiter was tending to other tables to prepare salads and flambé, once Wayde had the chance he came and checked on us. Great humor, personality, felt like talking to friend. Would love to come back again for another special occasion.

    It was a bit too cold in the restaurant, so I couldn’t really enjoy my drink, but everything else was absolutely wonderful!

    Hi Tomoko, thank you for your positive review! We completely understand certain areas of the restaurant can bit a bit colder. If at anytime you feel this way, we do provide shawls, and can adjust the air conditioning depending on the situation, including shutting it off completely. We do our best to strike a balance with the entire restaurant in mind. We hope to see you again soon!
