Hula Grill - Waikiki
Great time and fabulous food however the green beans were a huge disappointment. They tasted like they came straight from the freezer, boiled for a bit and then to the table. Definitely not fresh.
Good food and service. High prices due to location. Very busy and somewhat loud. Overall good experience. Nice place to see the sunset.
Marvelous mid-week spot for brunch! Quiet on a Tuesday 11am
Nice service and great view...
Great Food! Great Service! Beautiful View!
Great menu. Wonderful food. Highly recommend
First choice for breakfast, every time I visit Honolulu.
Amazing! They even gave us a nice dessert for my birthday. Great food and gorgeous sunset!
The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Made a late dinner reservation but the wait was worth it.
We love the fact that its ulstairs a d facing the beach. Friendly staff and the best food. Dessert was awesome too. We will come back
Great view, awesome service from staff including our server Luis. Food was delicious and ambiance was perfect. Will definitely be back
My husband and I went here on a Saturday night and the live music was great! Hula dancer was fun! Drinks were expensive, but delicious and appropriately priced for Waikiki oceanfront restaurant... Bar service took a while, but the atmosphere was so nice it didn’t matter. Dinner was amazing. I highly suggest the wontons for appetizers and the macadamia nut mahi mahi for dinner. The hostess stand was kind enough to move us to a patio table right on the ocean view side. It was an amazing view.
Great view, great service, tasty food and drinks, good vibe.
Food was great and service was excellent, but the noise level from band at Duke's below was almost unbearable. The band was really good, but WAY too loud!
Family loves it. My wife enjoyed the ocean view and food was amazing. Its a good choice for breakfast for us and I'm happy with the price. Just on the right spot. Thank you.
A great evening. Nice view excellent service and a really good menu and wine choice made this a great night thank you all
We went to the Hula Grill for a Velentines Day celebration, The atmosphere was really good and all the staff very kind and welcoming. A special mention to Logan for his excellent service and giving us a desert on the house due to having to wait a little while for our mains (however I didn’t even think it was that long). The food was delicious especially the fish special. Would definitely Recommend and return for another meal!
The food and service was excellent!
Arrived 30 minutes early for reservation but the hostess worked us right in with little delay. JC was our server for Valentines night and he made the time fun and enjoyable. The view was amazing and the food was even better!
Food was outstanding and the location brilliant. First night in Hawaii and there was no doubt we were here given the perfect Waikiki Beach views and the feeling of Hulu Grill! Great romantic spot. Cheaper prices are always better but you do get your value for every dollar spent there.
Great service and food!
It was a great experience to have a brunch there.
It was really good food & service only thing i didn’t like was the birds flying everywhere . On top of tables & all under your feet while your eating .
It was nice but nothing special
Overall we had a good experience, but not “great”. The service was outstanding, be sure ask for Izzy’s section. The food was good, a little better than average. If you are visiting Waikiki then you should definitely have dinner at either Duke’s or The Hula Grill, but if you must pick one the I’d recommend Dukes.
Ocean view tables
My friend and myself opted to have an early dinner at 5:30pm, and because we made the reservations through OpenTable, we were seated on the balcony. We were able to see the beautiful sunset as we were eating and all the sailboats transitioning Waikiki. We both chose options from the Chef’s 3-course tasting menu that ended around 5:45pm that cost only $27 per person. We enjoyed the shrimp carbonara, my friend liked the Caesar salad and the shaved parmesan on top and the garden salad needed more than two cherry tomatoes; and for dessert, the waiter recommended the pineapple upside down cake that had a small scoop of ice cream and dollop of whipped cream on the side. My friend thought the chocolate cake was just okay. Overall, we enjoyed the chef’s special, especially since entrees generally started at $28 as the most affordable.
We celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday! They brought out a huge slice of ice cream cake and it was delicious! Our daughter had a wonderful time and we had a beautiful view! The service was amazing and one of our favorite restaurants when we visit!
This was the last night of our vacation and one of the local
Shopkeepers recommended this restaurant. We were so happy with everything we wish we had found it earlier in our visit.
Great breakfast with marvelous views. I was very impressed with the range of the menu and thought that the service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m looking forward to dining there again.
Went for a traditional Hawaiian food, turned out very blend, lacked spiced in food. The drinks and desert were great though. The guitarist was playing in the bar. I wish he was playing somewhere everyone could see him. Felt like I was listening to the radio.
