   This is our second time here in a year and we always look forward to it! You blew our mind away with your service and food. Hula Grill will continue to be our go to dinner place whenever we visit Maui. Nothing beats sunset dinner views and delicious food.

   We love the Hula Grill. The food is fantastic. The ambiance and staff are very friendly as well. We love the entertainer - Kawika Lumho. He plays east soft rock and Hawaiian.

   There wasn't many food options. Thankfully I was able to order off of the kids menu. Our waiter was very nice! My husband didn't even enjoy his crab and Mahi Mahi dinner plate, said it was blan. Great view of the ocean, however we left hungry no one enjoyed their meals.

   Beautiful outdoor seating, ocean view. Both of us had the delicious, crunchy, Chinese Chopped Chicken Salad. It was chock full of veggies and cubes of chicken nicely dressed in delicate sesame soy dressing. We both loved the salad. Service was okay; the server, I think, was new because she was overly attentive. She must've stopped at our table every two minutes, on the verge of annoying. Hopefully, she will learn to pull back and give diners space. It's not great to have your conversation interrupted every couple of minutes. This is not our first time here, we're Maui residents and of course, will return.

    Food was not as it was during our past visits. Some items seemed to be sitting prior to being brought to our table. Bread was stale tasting. Server was not attentive and the way she wore her uniform was distracting to say the least. Quality and service have diminished significantly. Will give them some time to improve prior to visiting again in the future since there are many other options while in this area.

    Fantastic service and great outdoor location next to the beach. Chef’s tasting menu was perfect for our family. Fresh and tasty fish. Kids really liked the slushies and good mai tais. Price was in line with the area.

    Excellent food! We had the seafood chowder and a grilled mahi-mahi, and both tasted very fresh and flavorful. But the dessert, Pono cake, was the highlight - no gluten, sugar and dairy but has an amazing taste.

    I made reservation ahead of time because reviews implied it was busy and so it was. Amazing lava flows, came back the next day just to drink them again. Service was really good everyone treated us with so much kindness and are super talkative and helpful. Only reason I gave it a 4 was because there aren’t a-lot of food options, but overall I really enjoyed the experience plus live music!!

    Jason was laid back, but very professional, also. Bread and dip was exceptional. Salad was good. Entrées were less than steller. My wife had grilled Mahi Mahi with vegis. It was not much flavorful past the fishy taste. My half chicken was okay, but could have had more flavor.

    Plan in advance and make a reservation! I could only get an early reservation as everything was booked later. It turned out to be a “happy accident,” because the Hula Grill offers a salad and entree meal deal as an early bird special. The only drawback was no homemade focaccia bread service is served with the early bird dining experience. I offered to pay for the bread as an extra order, but they were not able to accommodate me. I was able to order a cocktail, so why not bread? Anyway, besides not being able to pay for the bread add-on, I had an overall good dining experience. I probably didn’t need the focaccia anyway!

    Took a while for server to greet us after we were sat. Very nice woman once she took our drink order. Kids food came 10 minutes before our entrees arrived, and second round of drinks took a while to arrive…we were ready to leave when the second round was served. Not what we remembered from our last visit. Can’t be the location or the view, but they need to work on meeting and exceeding expectations for such a cool venue.

    Server was great!! The whole staff was quick and attentive. We were a large party of 8 but it was as quick of service if we were a group of 2. The view was absolutely insane. We were there at sunset and let me tell ya I would go back again just for that view.

    Everything was divine, including the lava flow! Our experience was wonderful from start to finish, and the ambience only added to it. The only issues were with some children at the next table and parking. It was quite a wait to get in and park. It was almost nonexistent. It had us late by about five minutes. not the restaurants fault. The kids were screaming and yelling the entire time but again that is not the restaurants fault. I would definitely recommend. Lots of local fare on the beach with a spectacular sunset view if you can get a table facing the ocean. Mahalo!

    We really enjoyed the live music watching the sun go down. I was looking forward to the meal. The chili oil and fresh bread were excellent but my entree (macadamia nut encrusted mahi was neither warm nor flavourful).

    Really enjoyed the Hula Grill. We.we’re able to sit outside up front to watch the sunset which was amongst the best. Our Server was Lucas who was soft spoken but polite and pleasant and accommodating to our needs. We decided to start with only a Caesar salad to save room at the end for dessert. Seasoned focaccia bread came to the table which was an awesome surprise full of flavor and felt like something special in itself. Two dipping oils on the table , olive oil and a zesty fruity mix were a unique compliment on all tables. The Caesar salad was amongst the best on the island with great tasting and proper amount of dressing. Main course was the rib eye steak, simply flavored and cooked to perfection! And the Wood grilled fish did not disappoint packed with flavor and freshness. Though the portions were nice size we were able to save room for the Hula pie. Awesome! A nice giant slice served on its special dish with its special sporks! Loved it! A great way to end the meal with a refreshing, yummy island treat! Hula grill was tops on our list and we look forward to next time!
