              Food was way overpriced and not very good for a high end restaurant. We were seated on the outside edge of the restaurant and the wind was unbearable. All our food was cold b/c of the windy seats.

              Our waiter Montana was excellent and gave us great recommendations on drinks, appetizers, and main entrées. He was also very fun and personable which made our experience that much more memorable. Two of our family members had the 32oz Tomahawks and said it was the best they have ever had!

              We requested a table by the ocean front and was seated in the loud mid-section. Other tables that overheard our conversation between us and the manager stated that they felt badly because they had made no request at all and were given the best seats. It seems that they have new management and pay no attention whatsoever to reservations or request. It was a very disappointing experience in comparison to past years. They have also taken away the free bread and marinated olives, which is one of the things that always distinguished them from the other TS restaurants. Also disappointing, especially after the poor management of not even being able to handle reservations.

              Mello provided wonderful table service as we enjoyed the beautiful view, and ambiance at Hula Grill. Our food (all cheeseburger orders! ) was delicious and on-point, casual and filling. Thank you Mello, for all you did to make our first-time experience at Hula Grill so pleasant! We will be back!

              Hula Grill is overlooking the Kaanapali boardwalk at Whalers Village, which means, sitting on the patio is a million dollar view of the ocean. The Mahi Mahi is excellent on tacos, quasadillas, fish and chips, or just grilled. Parking is validated, so there is no excuse for not dining at this restaurant.

              We took our party of 6 for dinner on a Wednesday night. After waiting 15 minutes for our table we were brought to an obnoxiously bright 10 top by the kitchen. Service started strong but then faded after appetizers. My husband had to get up Twice to track down silverware and plates. Then the food came and my chicken was raw. The waitress took the plate back and i ordered a salad to replace it. 15 minutes later everyone else was finished but my salad hadn’t arrived. I sought out the manager and they took both the raw chicken and salad off the bill, so they did the right thing, but sooo disappointed. Definitely won’t go back.

              Service slow and unorganized. Appetizers came out long before drinks. We were already done with appetizers. Waited a long time for remaining even the bill. Portions seemed small compared to similar dishes in nearby restaurants. Dinner for 2 took over 2 hours, more than the parking credit.
