              Loved our dining experience again at Hula Grill. In fact our son didn’t come with us, but we told him today we went again, as we always do when we come to Hawaii and he said “oh man, I love that place.” Needless to say we enjoyed it again. Great food, service and sunset! 🌅

              Wonderful ambiance when looking to view fantastic Maui sunset. Food overpriced and just OK… not approaching value paid. Service was good if a bit rushed as sunset approached to turn the table. I’d return but stick to the burger!!

              Waitress was very attentive and we had good service . We had to wait an extra 30 minutes to sit on patio from inside. There was a table open that they could have sat us at sooner as we ended up at that table .. food was delicious!

              Excellent service. Incredible view. The focaccia bread was most delicious bread I have ever eaten! The BBQ sauce on ribs and Localicious salad were not my favorite flavors but the presentation and ambience of the restaurant was amazing. My husband’s fish and lobster were wonderful!

              Hula grill was good. Very busy. There was live music that was great to listen to while eating dinner. However we felt rushed to order as our server kept coming by asking if we were ready to order. The prices were outrageous but seems to be the theme here in Hawaii. The kids dinner options were at a more reasonable price point ($11) and had more option which we appreciate. We got the seafood potsticker appetizer ($24) which was so good, it was such a tease as they only came with four which meant one for each person. For main dishes we got the soup, roasted chicken and mahi mahi. All very good. The chicken and soup was very filling. However the Mahi Mahi was not filling for my husband he ate some of the chicken and soup as well. Each entree came with a starch but the veggies were ala carte($8/$9), the server did say they could be shared up to 3 people. Overall it was a good experience food was delicious, but due to the price being so high we will not go back.

              We went to Hula Grill for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was the first time for our family at the restaurant. The waiter was fantastic and made our evening very enjoyable. The location was perfect with an ocean view. The only complaint was the food…fish was dry and hard. Kids chicken teriyaki tasted like it was microwaved from being frozen. I expected better food from this restaurant and better value for our money.

              Gorgeous venue, best service, loved our waitress and bartender. The food was underwhelming. Chef needs to do better. We were a party of 4 adults. After yummy drinks at bar we shared: focaccia bread (bad and cold) potstickers (cold, lack of flavor) crusted mahi (cold and dry) ahi tuna (average), chef’s choice fish (average) dessert was delicious hula pie. My recommendation, go for happy hour, stay for sunset seat at bar.

              I reserved a table for 8 thinking we could get ahead of the crowd but they sat us @ The library with zero view We still waited 20-30 with a reservation The menu was not that great but we learned the next day that the bar menu was available. Wish we knew that. We ordered 4 kids meals + 2 main + 2 starters and it came out to $350+ Overall - don’t reserve a table - go check in a wait for the view so you don’t get placed in the back
