Loved our first visit to HobNob!
- Drinks we’re very original and amazing, and their prices were reasonable
- Food was sooo good (we had the Meyer lemon short ribs and the snapper in ‘crazy water’)
- Service was exceptional
- So. Loud! The space is tight and we were seated next to a table of loud-mouthed 30-somethings 🙄
- Entrée prices are a little high, but I realize that’s probably par for the course on 5th Avenue
All in all it was a great meal, and we look forward to our next visit.
We dined here as a party of two prior to a play at sugden theater. Jennifer was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu seems to be changing but the menus at the table had not been updated. Overall the food was good. Jennifer did a great job on service.
Excellent food, the deviled eggs are incredible!! Waitstaff was wonderful. Offered great suggestions, was attentive, and helpful. Highly recommend!!
We went for the Theater pre dinner special, but was told they did not have it. Having seen a previous comment on the internet that said the same thing, we walked out. The manager ended up running down to catch us saying they did have it.
Great! Thanks for a wonderful meal and service
our waiter acted inappropriately towards my friends and i and it made us very uncomfortable. the food was great but the restaurant should work harder to make their female customers feel safe and not targeted or objectified.
First time trying HobNob and will definitely be back! Great experience and even better food. Great location right on 5th avenue in Naples!
Overall it was a great place to be seen in the downtown Naples area. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We will go back!
The need to change their online information. We came because of a Theater Special and were told it was only for Monday thru Friday. That's not what it says online. We will not be back.
We were disappointed that the pre-theater menu is Monday-Friday only. Previously it was available each night.
The September specials were gone. It was still on the website and window. The waitress mentioned our comment to the manager. The manager did nothing and didn’t even come to the table.
I wanted the lobster salad which was on the menu. They were out of it. A restaurant shouldn’t be out of a menu item at 6 pm on Saturday.
The appetizer was great, but honestly one of the worst steaks I have had .
We both ordered the short ribs and dinner was just very OK at best. Too many other great restaurants in Naples.
Excellent food and great service made for an enjoyable evening!
The food and service was exceptional!! I would highly recommend the sea bass👍🏻
Friendly staff. Interesting menu, but sauce and sides take over and you miss the actual taste of the meal.
It was nice. Not a place that I would go to to celebrate. But for a nice place to eat. Was a little loud. Food was very creative.
Our food and service were excellent.
Great food and service!
Wonderful place, great tasting, hot food. The reason for four stars is due to our initial entrance to the restaurant. The hostess was not very friendly & did not look at all at our reservation request, and when I stated to her I had requested a booth she was happy to oblige and put us in one but acted surprised. It was also our anniversary and she made absolutely no note of any of that to us or our server. The food was absolutely excellent wonderful rich flavors portion size for the price was definitely smaller than we expected. But everything we got was excellent. We got the artichoke appetizer, for $14 you would expect a few more than 2 stems cut in half but it was delicious. The little cornbread muffins made up for it, those were delicious as well. The dinner was excellent. Flavor was right on point, the tuna dish was a bit smaller than anticipated but had amazing flavor. The key lime brûlée so yummy. Drinks were on par and once our waitress knew that we were there she was very attentive and friendly we did sit there for probably 10 to 12 minutes before even being greeted or given water at our table. Overall a good experience.
Short ribs were tasty, ceviche tasted old, rotisserie chicken was dry however brussels sprouts were good and martini was refreshing.
We chose Hob Nob for our anniversary… excellent choice! Very mellow, relaxing vibe. We started with the Arancini… a must try. We loved our short rib and lamb shank entrees, but felt they could have been a little more substantial for the price. The key lime creme brûlée alone will ensure we are back ASAP!!
We enjoyed dinner at the bar, the charcuterie board and a Bucatelli Italian pasta with shrimp…. It was prepared deliciously along with great service and great drinks.
We visit every time we come to Naples and will continue to do so.
HobNob has a good vib. Excellent food and a great bar scene.
Worst server ever. Had other agendas. This was a lot of money for a pedestrian experience. You lost me.
The salmon and shrimp were both overcooked resulting in both items being dry. The taste was ok, but it was nothing that I would rush back for.
The house wine was very good and during happy hour, it was very reasonable.
Ask for Ina or Jill , for a fun dining experience
Walked in and immediately decided that we didn’t want to stay…no vibe .felt like a cafeteria…waiter was pleasant but everyone seemed disinterested in being there
It's always solid when we go. The tuna nachos appetizer is awesome. The white Sangria was delicious as was the berry mojito. We all had the Sea Bass which was fresh and perfect. Sadly, we passed on dessert this time but the Donuts are an absolute family favorite. Lastly, our server Deanna was excellent as was the entire wait staff.
We were very happy to finally come back to Naples and return to this restaurant we had visited a few years ago. While service and ambiance were great and some of the food we had was good, but overall the main meal was lackluster. We enjoyed our appetizers (my husband enjoyed the octopus + white beans) and desert (yummy chocolate torte), but the entrees themselves were just OK - low on flavor and seasoning.
Dishes were good - portions are small and a bit pricey -but the sea bass was delicious $42 small piece with a little bit of rice ( like 1/2 cup) $$$$
Great evening, the food was delicious, service outstanding and a wonderful vibe about the whole restaurant.
This restaurant was recommended by friends. We truly enjoyed. The Sea Bass was the best and our waiter Tony was very polite and personable. He added to our overall experience.
The food was fresh and delicious. Service was great!
Was a nice evening. Somewhat slow and off season so the staff was attentive and friendly, but had the time to be so. Octopus and white bean appetizer was really nice, so were the roasted veggies that came with the hummus.
This place was so good! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great
Excellent food and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend
We had eaten there pre-pandemic and had good food and service. Guess things have changed. The salmon had a good smoky flavor, but was overcooked and a bit dry, which was a shame. My spouse ordered hot tea, but they only had cheap Lipton tea bags, where most restaurants have a large selection to choose from.
The food was fantastic. The filet comes with demi-glacé on it that is not mentioned on the menu. It was still perfectly cooked, just a surprise when it arrives. Great place for small plates and cocktails!
I have been there before and the food was fantastic and so were the drinks. Last not was not that great. Some of the food was good others were lacking flavor and were just blah. Also same with the drinks. Also, turn the air on, it was extremely hot and stuffy in there. Server Deana was fantastic and very attentive and nice.
Grouper and fries are great! The Hobnob Chardonnay by the bottle
is a great value too.
