Sunday Funday Brunch at Herbie's was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! From the delicious menu selections, bottomless Mimosas, attentive service while seated in the outdoor heated tent. Overall...OUTSTANDING!
The food was absolutely great and so was the service. Herbie’s followed the social distancing practices so I did not feel uncomfortable. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating. He let us sit and chat past the brunch hours & did not rush us to leave. I will definitely be back & recommend it to anyone.
Great server. Didn’t have a big meal but good appetizers.
Happy hour! Waiter was excellent. Pizza not great. Cold inside due to the fact that the door to the outside patio was open and closed so many times and it stuck open.
The food is always excellent and the service was perfect!
everything was delicious as usual! All health precautions are appreciated!
Just a great time! Our service was fantastic!
The service was amazing, the food was not. Great place for drinks and apps...dinner not so much
So glad to be back! Sever was very kind and we had a wonderful lunch.
Herbie's never disappoints for a nice evening out. Their staff is very friendly and attentive. We appreciated the seasonal items and really great draft beer selections. Wines by the glass, including sparking were very respectable and we found some delicious choices all night long.
Thank you for making our evening lovely.
Service was amazing but my flat bread was ehh. Would go again and try something different
Great service and great food!! Outdoor seating had heat lamps and the ambience was perfect!
Nice service, great selection if entrees. Substitutions where needed were easily made. Beef Wellington was excellent choice.
The food, service and atmosphere were all great for a celebratory family dinner.
Went there for our anniversary. Absolutely outstanding service and food.
We had a table outside for a 5 pm happy hour that turned into dinner. It was a Monday evening. Busy outside but not crazy busy. Our waiter was great and didn't rush us. Our dinners (smash burgers and a chicken sandwich with fries) were very good as was the birthday dessert. We've been to Herbie's twice lately and will come again.
Lovely evening on the large covered patio. Service very good. Food solid, basic bistro fare. A bit expensive.
Perfect outdoor brunch. Very well socially-distanced.
We are frequent customers and love your establishment. This particular experience was 5 star due to our server Jason. We will
definitely be back and request him. He made our night!
We were seated outside which I was not expecting. Thankfully I had a wrap as it was a cool evening.
Always a nice place to eat. Great service, warm atmosphere, lots of house made items and they taste it, e.g., corned beef, biscuits, sausage, and locally sourced things as well which is especially important to support local businesses right now. I do miss the homemade donuts though--they fell off the menu after Covid! All in all always a good call. Recommend.
Great time great outdoor patio!
Great dinner with family on the patio! Service was great, very attentive, water refilled often and staff was very nice and friendly!
The food was incredible. We did a tasting menu of so many different things. The chef even came out and said hello. Very knowledgeable staff. Loved everything!
Nicki provided excellent service.
Food needs to be kicked up a notch.
Pork chop a little overdone.
Side needs to include a vegetable, not just potatoes with a bit of kale.
Great service! Loved our waiter, can’t wait to return!
The outside tableservice was managed well and felt safe
Herbie’s was very accommodating, and has delicious food!
We made reservations for a Sunday Brunch, and I’d noted that we preferred patio seating. They recognized this ahead of time, and already had a great patio table ready for us when we arrived.
All staff was masked, there was plenty of hand sanitizer available throughout the restaurant, and they require guests to wear masks when walking about.
For brunch, I highly recommend their Chicken and Waffles, and their Shrimp n’ Grits!
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Great first time experience!
We had a slow start. Waiter took almost 20 minutes to come to our table. Not sure if it was hostess error or his. But he apologized and the rest of the service was great. Food and drink was delicious. No pressure to order; we set the pace for the evening. Celebrated a birthday and waiter brought cheesecake with lit candle and another dessert for table. Also gave us each a port with dessert. The port could have been result of ordering a bottle of wine with dinner that they no longer had in stock. Our table was small for a party of 4, especially since larger 4-tops existed. Overall a really great evening. Attentive and courteous staff and pleasant atmosphere. We will go back!
Our favorite restaurant in St. Louis County. The patio is a must in good weather, but the dining room and bar are awesome when the weather is bad. Food/cocktails/service/ambiance...everything A++.
Outdoor dining was full, but we took a table in the "bistro" area right at an open window which was lovely. Our server was friendly. Service was "leisurely", but that was fine for a Saturday afternoon girls get-together. Food was delicious as always.
Perhaps one of the best outdoor dining experiences in St. Louis. The server was accommodating and reactive to every request. The food was outstanding as well. We ordered the salmon, which was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious!
Food was great, waiter was great! Probably the best margaritas I’ve had in St Louis! I had the salmon, which was amazing. My son had the flank steak, and it was cooked to perfection. There was a glitch with my Open Table reward card, but Herbie’s took $20 off my bill, which was super nice.
Met with friends on the patio , beautiful night
Good food and service. Tables nicely spaced out. Everyone wore masks.
Great space for outdoor dining , service was great and food was good as well
Sunday night dinner on the patio/sidewalk. Server initially was very attentive, but sort of disappeared. Salmon was very good; shrimp and grits was just ok for me - very large shrimp and lots of sausage (I wasn't expecting sausage but should have asked), grits were buried in what seemed too much sauce. Inside was not crowded at all; outside tables were well-spaced and the patio area is very nice.
Service was super slow. Incorrect drinks were brought to the table. Condiments never showed up. Server would disappear for long periods of time.
Anniversary dinner that was ruined by inattentive service and poor food. I could elaborate more but I have already lost an hour and a half of my evening and not eaten dinner it was that bad. The only positive to the evening was management handling the situation correctly which was greatly appreciated so that we could have a proper anniversary elsewhere.
