The food was amazing! All the food was cooked to perfection. The staff we're all amazing. Friendly, helpful and talkative. The environment was really comforting. It was our first time visiting and it genuinely felt like we were regulars. The whole experience was amazing! We can't wait to go back!

Our dinner date at Hawksmoor Spitafields was truly memorable. The food was tremendous on its own but the star of the night was the outstanding service. We havent had outstanding service like this in over 20 years. The dry-aged ribeye and the fillet were outstanding, cooked perfectly over live coals. The slaw was made with kohlrabi and was very tasty with a nice crunch. The fries were crispy outside and velvety inside. We cant say enough about our wait staff, Pepper and Martin. Pepper provided information on all the different cuts of meat and how the cook's pricing on Monday nights worked. We were checked on regularly to see if we needed anything. We were not familiar with any of the wines on the wine list and Martin spent a few minutes asking us questions to help pattern our taste. We mainly drink cabs and merlots back in the US and, after Martin's description, we enjoyed a bottle of Inama 2022, which is made with Carmenere grapes. Great suggestion. It paired perfectly with our steaks. To finish our wonderful dinner, we split an apple and rhubarb crumble, topped with vanilla ice cream and vanilla custard on the side. It was a great dessert to finish a great evening. I forgot to mention the Aperol spritzs we enjoyed sometime during the evening. On our way out, we stopped by the food window, between the kitchen and dining area, and gave the chefs a round of appluase. Our sincere thanks to the great staff at Hawksmoor Spitafields for a wonderful evening and tremendous meal.

A few days ago I enjoyed a steak meal so much I decided to return. But this time I was solo. I decided to try the chicken with chips and a glass of wine. Across the room was a long table of young diners. Noisy. The chicken arrived. It looked great but although moist it was tasteless. The garlic and lemon did little to enhance it. Chips as ever were great. I’d consider at least a proper gravy rather than the garlic and lemon. Something more in keeping with the nature of Hawksmoor. I’d also consider sourcing a better supplier of chicken.

Booked for my nieces 30th birthday, she loved it. The food was terrific and we stayed for over 3 hours so everything was all very relaxed

It was absolutely incredible. The service first and foremost was spot on, and we felt very well taken care of. The servers were genuine and fun and added to a very positive experience. And of course the food was impeccable. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the chateaubriand was cooked flawlessly. Thanks for an amazing night!
