   Overall, the experience was good, and the Porterhouse was very tasty. However, there were a couple of issues that I found disappointing for a restaurant of this price range and reputation: - The red wine was served at room temperature, which wasn’t ideal. - We ordered the Porterhouse unsliced, but it arrived sliced. The staff offered to prepare a new one, which would’ve taken 30 minutes, but we accepted the sliced version rather than wait.

   Good choices and grub was great. Very loud and tables too close. Genuinely struggled to have a conversation across the table. Everything else was good 👍

   Spuds and yorkies were a let down but everything else way above, perfectly cooked beef, sweet carrots, lovely cabbage, cauliflower cheese well balanced and the star of the show was the stuffing, oh my goodness, I’d just have a plate of that!!

   The Sunday roast was good with Hawksmoor's excellent stuffing. They need to put bigger jugs of gravy out though and the Yorkshire puddings were a bit hard. Tasty puddings and lovely cocktails Really good attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere . This is a great restaurant to come to for a treat but not too often because it is extremely expensive!

   My friends and I went to Hawksmoor for Sunday roast, it was my friend’s first Sunday roast ever and they asked a lot of questions 😅 the waitress patiently explained everything and informed them about what to expect, they also guided us on what to order. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the price for the value was just right! Will go back definitely!

   We only had starters as we were that hungry, but they were excellent -- the scallops, the bone marrow, asparagus, and fries. They were generous portions and we were very satisfied with just those. Very good!!

   Great steak but the evening was let down by the service. We were rushed from the moment we arrived, we must have been asked 3 or 4 times by different waiters whether we’d decided on our drinks in 5 minutes when we were waiting for a friend. It was a shame as the food was good

    I love this restaurant! However, it’s getting too loud for me to hear my dinner companion and vice versa. It was relieved to step into the quiet street outside. It’s a shame too because if it was slightly quieter, it would be the perfect place for a steak for someone in the 70s. Of course this just makes me sound like an old fogie.
