It was absolutely incredible. The service first and foremost was spot on, and we felt very well taken care of. The servers were genuine and fun and added to a very positive experience. And of course the food was impeccable. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the chateaubriand was cooked flawlessly. Thanks for an amazing night!

We had a late afternoon booking on Monday so we brought 3 bottles of wine along to take advantage of the £5 corkage and the Express Menu. Our wine was very well taken care of as we dined and the set menu was excellent. I enjoyed the smoked mackerel salad to start (very tasty), the rump steak for my main (great seasoning and I could taste the ageing of the meat, unlike at other restaurants), with the Peanut Butter shortbread to finish (might be too rich for others but I loved it). Our second visit here an we'll be back!

Started off well as the host gave me a great table (booth) as I had requested something private as I was taking a client out for a special celebration meal. I ordered a medium rare sirloin - but my steak was very well done - it was so charred that the side strip of fat was barely noticeable- it was the most well done steak I’ve ever seen anyone cook - the chef should never have sent it out and our waiter who delivered it should have also noticed (he was the same one who took the order). I spent just shy of £300 for two people and it’s just not acceptable to be served steak like that in any steak restaurant - never mind one this expensive. I didn’t ask to change it as my client was in a rush and it would have ruined the meal for both of us as he would have had to eat on his own as I watched him. It just should not ever have happened. Just unacceptable.
