This place was very nice view.
I like “Hawaiian coffee” here.
Egg Benedict was so nice.
The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. We love blackened fish and you were left wanting more. So good!
Great food, great service, beautiful view. My fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement and they were so nice to give us a dessert on the house . Would definitely come back again. Pricey but we worth it .
Everything was done well from the valet parking, prompt seating on the lanai, attentive service and a scrumtious 3-course shared lunch. The rain stayed away and sunshine even came out.
Excellent food and service. Classic eggs Benedict was still as delicious as I remember. Others had the Monte Cristo and Corned Beef Hash and eggs. All 8 breakfasts were excellent. Location is superb and the waiters so friendly and efficient. Glad that it is still as special as it was years ago.
Fantastic patio / unbelievable view. Great place to watch sunset. Ambiance is so cool. Food is good. Unremarkable though. Drinks were solid. Service experience was very good.
Would definitely go again even with average food as view and drinks were that good.
お天気もよく 海は青く 蒼く 空も青く
Every trip to Honolulu is not complete until we have a sunset dinner here.
Totally enjoyable evening!
Over the years, this is the restaurant that our visitors always want to go back to. Just a wonderful ambience and good food. The staff always make an effort to honor our request to sit under the trees, which we really, really appreciate.
enjoyed my brunch there very much! I would definitely return sometime in the future, food, service, atmosphere wonderful!
Beautiful restaurant! Have been dining at Hau Tree Lanai for years as a kamaaina and now as a visitor from Hawaii Island. The most wonderful breakfast/ brunch spot on the island. Attentive service, excellent food and beautiful setting. A Hawaiian treasure not to be missed. Old school Hawaii. Mahalo
The only negative was a noisy intoxicated group in the restaurant. No reflection on the establishment, just bad manners on the guests part.
I go their a lot because of the staff, location and ambiance. The food is alway good and I know what is ordered will be good.
We always enjoy the wonderful breakfasts at the Hau Tree. The eggs Benedict and the Hawaiian style French toast are favorites and a half papaya with lime is a great starter. We wouldn’t consider Honolulu without breakfast here!
Setting and view spectacular. Some new appitizers that are vey good. Opakapaka Chinese style is the best.
Hau Tree Lani is a must when entertaining out of town visitors. Food, services and atmosphere are a delight.
I gave only 4 stars for service because simple cocktails were not available until
11:30 am. Although I was able to order a Irish coffee my preferred drink Gin and Tonic was not available.
That was the only slight hiccup in an otherwise great Brunch. Highly recommended
Wonderful and beach side
Very nice setting!
This place is located in a beautiful setting. As soon as you arrive through the lobby doors, all the people around you exude a genuine characteristic relaxed Hawaiian warmth, the people who work here exemplify the famed Hawaiian hospitality, greeting you with a congenial "Aloha!" as you come for your reservation check-in and again when you are seated. My partner and I had a beautiful seat underneath the hau tree, right at the balustrades between the restaurant and the Sans souci beach. Unfortunately, when the coffee is poured and the food appeared on the glass covered pink tablecloth, the magic deflates. I felt that there wasbetter coffee on an air New Zealand flight thab what was served here. The pancakes were buoyant and moist, I spat out a strange sausage, the fruits were good, the French toast alright, but I felt that, with perhaps the exception of the fruit, it all tasted of what may have been serviced by a generic restaurant supply company to keep costs reduced. While it is a stories place, it is a place which is not quite kept as well as it may have in past times. I loved the people and the setting—the food, not so much.
Always a wonderful experience to dine under the Hau trees. Excellent service and best eggs Benedict ever!
Simply put, Amazing!
Went here twice this week and had same dish (mixed grill) and never disappoints . Best spot for dinner and a fantastic sunset.
The shop is also gentle and can be spent with peace of mind.Thank you!!
Delicious food in a beautiful setting!
A personal favorite place to dine, with a panoramic view of the ocean.
