    All good. Had been regulars at HT until we moved to Windward side but had an occasion to return. Nina was fine, the food was great. Understand that entrees now come without a starch and ordered separately to share, but in principle believe an entree should be a complete meal. One recommendation...our rental also has a Hau tree, but our table near center along beach required guests and servers to crouch when passing that way and pretty sure some have bumped their heads on branch. Believe you could cut off that large elbow (about 18" dia.) and the remaining tree will be fine and fill in in no time. Save bruises and make less work for the lawyers.

    Our server, Lindsey, was absolutely amazing during our time at Hau Tree. We traveled to multiple different islands during our stay in Hawaii, and Lindsey easily provided the best service out of all of our different restaurant experiences. She was so thoughtful and attentive, and very personable with our entire group. We couldn't recommend Hau Tree enough, and wanted to say how amazing she was!!

    Not as expected! Not worth the hype. Food and service were ok. Too pricy for small portions. I added we were celebrating a birthday and nothing extra was done. Restaurant doesn’t respond when messaging on the app.

    This restaurant had a beautiful patio and a lovely, relaxing ambiance—definitely worth visiting for the vibes alone. The food was good overall. The focaccia bread stood out—absolutely amazing! The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the pastas were decent, though not the best I’ve had. The desserts, however, were a highlight—truly delicious. Service is great! If you’re looking for a great spot with a beautiful setting and solid food, this place is definitely worth checking out.
