   Everything was perfect. The wait staff and the ambience were great but then the food came out and blew it out of the water. Will be coming back here every time I’m in London.

   I must say, the experience was not too memorable. It was not because they were bad but just did not meet with certain expectation I had before visting the restaurant. Let's start with the postive, the scotch egg was excellent because this was one of the item I really wanted to try and I was most impressive with it. I didn't try any starters because I wanted to try the dessert. I had the Deer as main. The meat was cooked well and tender but I found it a bit weak in taste. I was expecting strong deer meat taste but it wasn't. But, I did taste the short rib of beef as well and this was nice. (Try the beef) Now, came the disappointment, I was so looking forward to the Yorkshire pudding dessert. Sadly, this was one item I was most disappointed with. I will not recommend this dessert. The other dessert had an interesting pairing. Pear and Almond Tartlet with a slice of blue cheese on the side. My companion did not like blue cheese so it would have been a waste if I was not there. Luckily, I had the cheese and it was lovely. (Just be careful before ordering, if you are not a blue cheese lover then maybe you need to ask them for a substitute) Overall, I am glad I try this restaurant but I will remind people to be cautious. It is not always what you might expect.

   Amazing food - as always - and the usual warm welcome. We particularly appreciated the input from front of house. No corkage Fridays are a real winner! Top marks across the board yet again.

   La nostra serata all'Harwood Arms è stata semplicemente perfetta. L'ambiente e la mise en place sono curatissimi, puliti e il servizio è davvero di alta qualità. Abbiamo scelto il menu da due portate giocando con gli antipasti e condividendo piatti semplicemente sensazionali. La cantina è fornitissima e davvero molto variegata, torneremo sicuramente

    We had a wonderful Sunday supper and highly recommend it! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The Sunday roast was beautifully presented (we even split an order to try both the pork shoulder and beef!), and the vegetables (potatoes, cauliflower, and broccolini) were delicious. Definitely don't skip the bread – their Vollkornbrot is outstanding.
