It was our first time there. I found it too dark, too loud, and the steak came back rare when we asked for medium well. The chicken was really good though. I wouldn’t go back however.

This is by far the best option for steak in the greater Manchester area, and challenges some of the better steak houses in Boston. The chef and kitchen staff are exceptional from appetizers through dessert. The waitstaff are as professional as they come. It's definitely a pricey place, but at the end of the experience you won't have buyers' remorse.

First time visiting Hanover Chophouse and we will be back. The service and food was outstanding. My wife had the surf and turf and I had the rack of lamb. We also enjoyed the carpaccio to start and to finish the meal, bananas foster creme brûlée. Our server Meaghan was first rate - helpful, professional and nice. Classy place.

We arrived at 4:45. Reservation was for 5. We were told that there was a staff meeting and were not seated unril 5:15. If there is a staff meeting that runs over then reservations should not be taken for 5 pm.

3 steaks were ordered medium. All 3 came back rare and needed to be sent back. When brought back there were areas that were still rare. That is simply unacceptable at a restaurant of this caliber and price range especially with a restaurant that was 70% empty at the time of food preparation.

We don't get to the Manchester area as often as we like, but we always eat at the Chop House. There are other steak houses we go to in various areas, The Chop House is the only one that has stayed consistently excellent! Even this time we couldn't get in until 8:15 pm it still was worth it. Wait staff is always outstanding!

I heard a lot about the place so thought we would try it out. The service and food was absolutely fantastic. We sat right in front of the piano player, he was fantastic with just the right tone. I believe his name was Jeff, really great piano player. It really made our evening an added pleasure. I had the porterhouse which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken parm which was also fantastic. We shared a nice bottle of pino noir which I at first thought was a bit pricey but was well worth the ambiance. We definitely will return.

Two birthdays were being celebrated and we were greeted with a Happy Birthday card on our reserved table. The waitress was very nice and service was great. We were not rushed and all of us enjoyed our delicious steaks.
