   Mother’s Day brunch was not as expected. Expensive and mediocre food. We have had many excellent dinners at this restaurant, but the Mother’s Day brunch was very disappointing and over priced.

   We weren’t expecting a buffet lunch. It was very good, but we prefer the normal menu. We should have asked when we made our reservation, but that was awhile ago.

   We had a 7:30 PM reservation—the latest available. I arrived on time, but the rest of the group was running late and wouldn’t arrive until 8:00 PM. I asked the manager Francisco if their late arrival would be okay, and though I could tell it might be a bit of a hassle, he graciously agreed. Despite being the last ones there at 9:20, we never felt rushed. The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent.

   From The lovely hosts to our aero e spectacular! The Mai tai is indeed an award winner great flavor and a decent pour! Food the short rib excellent as was the teriyaki burger with Maui onion and pineapple We have been here 4 times so you know we will be back next time on Maui!

   My husband and I love this place! Food is always so good, staff is so nice and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying everything. The bartender by far makes some of the best drinks on the island!!!

   Been going here for decades and even through COVID. With the management change, I was expecting significant changes, but most of the menu has remained untouched with all the classics but it's always difficult to get used to the ever rising prices. The Sashimi Napoleon remains my favorite dish, so much that we ordered two for our family to share.

   The people, the food…..always a great experience! And we love to travel on up to the adjoining village for interesting shopping!

   After visiting the Maui Pineapple Farm, we made our way here for brunch. The Sashimi Napoloeon tasted amazing! I also loved the Sparkling Hibiscus as a non-alcoholic choice for a brunch drink. Our amazing server said, "Not only is it a pretty drink but tastes pretty too!" 🌺 Definitely will need to come again for dinner!

    Decided to finally have lunch at the Haile Maile General Store and we’re glad we did!! The fish curry was delicious!! They didn’t skimp on fish and there were lots of vegetables in a creamy curry with a nice helping of jasmine rice in the middle of the bowl topped with chutney. My husband had the green papaya salad and added blackened ahi to it. It was just the light, refreshing meal he was looking for!! We were both so full after lunch that we didn’t order dessert…next time I’ll be sure to get the pineapple upside down cake…it looked amazing!!
