   Food was good with good portions. My daughter and I shared the ribeye entree which was plenty of food for two. We also ordered the chorizo orzo which was delicious and a side of veggies which was mostly onions so I could have done without that. The lilikoi creme Brûlée was delicious - very tart so you can taste the lilikoi just the way we like it. We enjoyed our experience.

   Painfully slow. There were a couple large parties that backed up the kitchen. Our server got sidetracked for about 10 minutes, which put our table behind larger tables that arrived after us. She was very nice but waiting 1 hr 20 minutes is painful despite the food being good. This isn't normal at HGS, but this was our recent experience.

   The food here is consistently good. We were here for lunch with a friend and had a great time. Worth the trip Upcountry. Highly recommended.

   Our server, Mia, was very attentive and answered all of our questions. The mahi-mahi both fire-grilled and in the fish and chips was outstanding. This is a great little off the beaten path restaurant. We will go back again and again.
