   After visiting the Maui Pineapple Farm, we made our way here for brunch. The Sashimi Napoloeon tasted amazing! I also loved the Sparkling Hibiscus as a non-alcoholic choice for a brunch drink. Our amazing server said, "Not only is it a pretty drink but tastes pretty too!" 🌺 Definitely will need to come again for dinner!

   Decided to finally have lunch at the Haile Maile General Store and we’re glad we did!! The fish curry was delicious!! They didn’t skimp on fish and there were lots of vegetables in a creamy curry with a nice helping of jasmine rice in the middle of the bowl topped with chutney. My husband had the green papaya salad and added blackened ahi to it. It was just the light, refreshing meal he was looking for!! We were both so full after lunch that we didn’t order dessert…next time I’ll be sure to get the pineapple upside down cake…it looked amazing!!

   From the moment we sat down, this restaurant blew us away. The experience was flawless from start to finish. We started with appetizers that were bursting with flavor — each bite made it clear that the kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing. The main courses were equally impressive: perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and packed with fresh, bold flavors. And let’s talk about the drinks — expertly crafted and incredibly balanced. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a house specialty, each one hit the mark. Finally, dessert was the perfect ending — rich, creative, and absolutely delicious without being too heavy. Every dish, every sip, every moment felt intentional and well-executed. I can’t wait to go back. This place is an absolute hidden gem!

   Not much innovation happening at HGS. Dishes haven’t changed in a long time. The old favorites are still there, Ahi Napoleon stack, Seafood curry, Paniolo Ribs. Just wish there were new things to try.

   Our meal was wonderful. Their Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever had, also the French onion soup.

   We celebrated my Mom’s 85th birthday and she always said how delicious the food is. She enjoyed the curry and I was pleasantly surprised by how much she ate and still had leftovers. Everyone from the General Manager Francisco to the team was very warm and welcoming to us. I’ll definitely be back for sure

    Terrific again and again. Great service from our server Jennifer who made sure that we had everything remained comfortable. We appreciated that great service and a delicious lunch. Everyone was friendly and the menu was great.
