   There was a plumbing issue the day I reserved for February 14th and so I had to go find a different restaurant and that was hard because everywhere was packed it sucked I wish the would of told us before there was a plumbing issue so we could of made other plans.

   Delicious French fries!!! But Is that ground beef? Really, What makes the tacos and burgers taste like that?

   Service was bad. Staff were not friendly. And got served burnt beans.

   They were out of beer and salad dressing. I asked 3 times for my beer before I was told they were out. They delivered the salad and asked if my wife wanted Ranch. Then they came back and told us they were out of Ranch and everything else. My stuffed Sopapilla was small, but did taste good. For $14.99 it was way overpriced. We had to ask for our after dinner sopapillas. there were 4 of us, they brought 2 and I had to ask for 2 more. One of the second batch was all dough with no space to put honey and was doughy and chewy. We have gone their a few times before and were always happy. It is obvious they are going out of business. They had only a couple of other tables when we arrived and just a few more when we left. We will not go back.

   It was okay, our server was nice but he was slow. It wasn’t busy whatsoever, so it definitely shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes for a margarita. The food was very good when we finally got it.

   There were very few tables of patrons, we continually had to find someone for a refill on our drinks. The food was served cold, and had no appeal to the presentation. The flavor was not very good either. Overall the staff was never avail to check up on us. The only upswing was the Santa person and the live music.

   We have tried Hacienda del Rio 3 times always taking out of town guests there to experience beautiful Old Town Albuquerque every single time we have noticed a deterioration in service, food quality and overall management of the restaurant. This past Friday we went and knowingly made reservations weeks in advance on Open Table because of the Old Town Christmas Tree lighting event. When we arrived for our 7pm reservation we were immediately advised that management had cancelled all reservations. I informed the young man at the hostess desk that I wanted to speak with the manager, he left and came back and said I just confirmed with the manager that we cancelled. I informed him the manager needed to come and speak with me considering we had waited in traffic for 45 minutes, brought all of our inlaws from Virginia to the event and also especially to eat at this restaurant. Manager finally came out and did take accountability then they sat us in the cramped dirty corner with a sticky table and a weird table, but we made due. We got a new waitress, she was ok, overwhelmed for sure. However, she forgot a ton of items but when I ordered Fajitas she came out 35 minutes later after ordering and said they were out so I ordered a hamburger. I asked for mayonnaise, she returned and said they didn't have any. So, then I asked for fried ice cream which we all were excited for... there was also none of that. The hamburger I received came with no garnishments, and some oil soaked nasty fries. I'm normally not picky, but this place sucked!! Management must be poor, or ownership must not be involved or educated. The manager never came by to apologize for being out of what seemed like everything. We will never go back! This place is a such a poor reflection of Old Town. PLEASE DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE IT IS OLD, DIRTY AND MANAGEMENT AND SERIVCE IS TERRIBLE!

   Even though all reservations had been cancelled because of the Old Town Holiday Shop n Stroll they still accommodated us almost immediately. It was extremely busy but they gave us good attention, and their posole is literally the best we've ever had.

   We made reservations on open table for a party of 4 at 8:30 we came early and they seated us immediately... 8:05 ... They took our drink orders and then returned to the table to take our food order.. I was last to order, I ordered a steak, the waitress said they had taken steak off the menu, as I watched the table next to me eat their steak. So I politely changed my order, didn't say anything... the waitress then returned 15 minutes later, still no drinks, and told us it would be at least an hour for them to cook our food as they were extremely busy... there were only 2 more tables inside and yes quite a few tables outside... she then proceeded to tell us it would be better if we just left because they were closing... it was 8:30 they close at 9:00 and incidentally you can make a 9:00 pm reservation ... needless to say this was the WORST dining experience we've ever encountered... DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

    Met friends for dinner prior to salsa music at the Art Museum. Everyone was satisfied with their margarita and meal choice. The fried ice cream was excellent too! Our server was very attentive. He rang us up before asking if we wanted dessert - my only complaint.
