Excellent experience and excellent food. However, a bit loud for our taste. It was for our wedding anniversary, and it was hard to hear each other’s conversation. But the servers were great! At least four different servers/staff came and wished us a happy anniversary. They put flower petals on the table—very friendly and classy. Just a little too noisy for our taste. “High energy crowd.”

Service was beyond terrible. We waited at a high top for over 20 minutes, and finally decided to switch to the bar. The bartender was nice but we were the only people there. She had premade mojitos lined up and simply just poured Bacardi in them. We order the mariscos or calamari and it came out cold inside and rubbery. This was our first time at the Costa Mesa location, we frequent the Irvine multiple times a month and the difference is night and day. Will never return to the Costa Mesa location.

We had a really nice evening out at Habana's with our friends. Out of the four of us, I was the only person that had been there before. We all got something different and I think the Filet Mignon was the favorite dish followed by the New York Steak.he Ahi meal was good too. I was disappointed in the Chimichurri plate, especially since it was hyped as the favorite dish on the menu. I don't think you can beat the ambiance of this restaurant, especially at the LAB in Costa Mesa. This place is a great date night spot and can be a very romantic setting. Lot's of greenery, candles, and mood lighting throughout. The service was next level too. Very attentive, helpful, and wonderful happy people working there.

The staff were very friendly and we’re quick to get everything those needed and we’re very responsive. The food was exceptional and the overall atmosphere was nice. The experience was very nice and inclusive in the Cuban culture.
