Everything is first-rate here, including the adaptations to deal with the virus. I decided to order my first barracuda and was very happy I did. We were safe, very well fed, and eager to return to one of the city's great restaurants.

The food was delicious and the service was spectacular

This was the fourth time we’ve been to Fins and once again we were pleased. We had the Crispy Snapper Belly and Lobster Carbonara for appetizers which were both super delicious. We had the Scallops and the Crusted Parmesan Halibut for entrees and both were wonderful. If you’ve never been there before I would however, recommend you try the Scallibut. It is one of the best items we’ve had there. The tuna tacos are a great appetizer also. We just wanted to try something different this time and we were not disappointed. For desserts we had the Samoa and the Bread Pudding. The Samoa was exceptionally yummy. The Coconut Sorbet was so creamy I didn’t think we were eating Sorbet and the Bread Pudding was near perfection. I’d order both again.

In summary. If you go here you will enjoy your dinner regardless of what you get, you’ll have great service, and you’ll get those yummy biscuits they serve with you meal. It’s a great restaurant. You should go.

The food was good, and our wait staff was very good, but as my husband went to sit in the booth he pulled his mask down, at which point the hostess very rudely admonished him that masked at to be worn at all times unless seated. This was completely uncalled for, we almost got up and left she was so rude. The rest of the visit was worth staying for.

This was our 4th visit to GW Fins. We have travelled the world and this is our number one restaurant.
Marlon (waiter) is wonderful and friendly and makes great suggestions on the food and wine choices!! He really completes the experience. Thank you to all of the team at GW Fins.

Wow...everything about our dinner was excellent. The COVID protocols clearly being followed, professional service with a sense of humor and OUTSTANDING food, what more can you ask? This establishment should be so proud of their employees, as I am sure they are! Attitude and service like this comes from the culture at the top. Oh, and the food...apple salad, swordfish and salty-malty pie...oh my! Let's not forget the delicious cocktail...lemon sage something that was swoon worthy. I can't wait to find myself back in New Orleans to have another go at the menu!

The restaurant lack the atmosphere it use to have without the decor. It does not have the feel it use to have. The food was good but it did not have the special touch like it use to have. Before, the fish would have better crust and grill marks and the biscuit was softer with a brush of butter on it to make it glow.

They are following all Covid guidelines, we felt very safe ........and the food was delicious!! The chef made a special vegetarian meal for my husband and our server Brenda was lovely!

We all three ordered fish entrees, red snapper, blackened swordfish, & Yellowfin Tuna & every single dish was amazing! The fish was cooked to perfection. My family couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Oh, the biscuits were some of the best homemade biscuits! We were never left unattended for 5 minutes, always making sure everything was perfect for us. One of the best in New Orleans! You all have a piece of my heart! Don’t lose sight of them magic you all are making! 💛

The food and service matched our pre-Covid experience, which is no small feat! They did a great job with mask usage by staff and proper distancing of tables. I love the Lobster Ravioli, and could make them a meal. They also did a nice birthday celebration for my husband on short notice.

The food was fantastic as always. Marlon was our server and was so knowledgeable about the menu. We were able to order the fin appetizer that was incredible. We each had to calamri appetizer and it was the most tender and flavorful. I recommend this restaurant to all of my out of town friends and family. Love, love, love it!
