   My wife and I went for our anniversary. Our server was very kind and really helped make our evening special. They answered any questions we had about the menu and made some really wonderful and insightful suggestions. I had the Rittenschnitzel, which was a thin cut beef dish, and it was spectacular. The sauerkraut, my goodness, was easily the best I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Grünauer is a must-go for those who love German, and similar, cuisine. The prices are a little higher than you might think, but overall it was worth every penny. I’m definitely going back. Next week. Try the Schnitzel.

   Excellent and Authentic! Took out of town guests of Eastern European background. Food is awesome and fresh. Been multiple times and never disappointed

   Overall, enjoyable place with good food. The service was very fast/rushed. Felt like they were trying to turn tables as fast as possible. Also, this was a Tuesday evening...was not packed.

   Our food was fabulous. The cocktails were on point and our server was so friendly and just the right amount of attentive without being intrusive. Great experience and we will absolutely be back!

   Food was great price point also very reasonable. Service outstanding. Menu has lots of options but ridiculously small print. Would return and recommend.

   We only have a few restaurants we consider our most favorite and this is one of those restaurants. We lived in Germany for over 5 years and often miss that cuisine, and Grunauer fills that desire. The staff are most accommodating and makes a dining experience even better. Great food, great place.

   Our party dined on Saturday evening to enjoy Grunauer’s Saturday special of sauerbraten. It was delicious and our server was very prompt and knowledgeable, especially guiding us to beers that we really enjoyed.

    I was concerned at first that it would be loud inside, but it's not! High ceilings with dark wood exposed beams immediately took me back to dining establishments during my visits to Germany and Austria. Service was great and the food did not disappoint! I ordered Ungarisches Rindsgulasch and my wife had the Sauerbraten. Both dishes were full of flavor and reminded me of home cooked dinner I had at friends in Böblingen. There are great beer options, as well as wine suggestions for your entree. I also ordered Topfenstrudel and my wife ordered the Melange coffee. Both were amazing. We're looking forward to making this a regular dining spot in KC!
