   Quite a unique atmosphere. Beautiful building inside. Gulasch and schnitzel were excellent. Wide range of draft beers on the European side. Apple strudel and homemade ice cream was excellent! Our waiter was Justin, and he was very helpful.

   Hands down the best German food in KC! It's our new go-to spot when we want a nice dining experience with amazing food and great wine/beer selections.

   The food was delicious, the waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful, and the desserts were fantastic. We were disappointed though that you only have Jägerschnitzel one night a week and it's never the night we can be there.

   We have not been to to Grunauer for a few years and it is just as good as we remember it. Food was great, service was great. Next time we are in KC, we will be back.

   Upscale traditional Austrian fare. Just fantastic, mains, desserts, and beers were wonderful, even the dinner salad was remarkable.

   My wife and I went for our anniversary. Our server was very kind and really helped make our evening special. They answered any questions we had about the menu and made some really wonderful and insightful suggestions. I had the Rittenschnitzel, which was a thin cut beef dish, and it was spectacular. The sauerkraut, my goodness, was easily the best I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Grünauer is a must-go for those who love German, and similar, cuisine. The prices are a little higher than you might think, but overall it was worth every penny. I’m definitely going back. Next week. Try the Schnitzel.

    Excellent and Authentic! Took out of town guests of Eastern European background. Food is awesome and fresh. Been multiple times and never disappointed
