The BEST food we had while in Colorado! We stayed in Vail but made the short trek to Beaver Creek to eat here. No regrets!! This Chef is creative and makes some of the most amazing food I’ve ever eaten! I’ve traveled the world and this is definitely one of the best in the world.
We were the only couple with a reservation that was sat in the bar vs. dinning room which had many open tables. When asked why, no one, including the manager, had a good reason. Was it because we were an interracial couple? Leaning towards, yes. Although the food was good, this is very concerning. This type of treatment/attitude is not acceptable.
Our favorite restaurant in the Vail Valley! Matt, the manager, knows how to make guests feel welcomed! Rob, the sommelier, is very knowledgeable and has an amazing wine list! Dave, the new chef is outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!
Never disappoints!!!! We love this restaurant. Always good quality food and service. Our favorite!
Everything was great! Service was outstanding. Food was terrific!
We were terribly disappointed in our evening, which was planned to celebrate my wife’s birthday. She has celiac and everything we asked to be accommodated for gluten free was answered with “no.” We live in Colorado , a progressive, healthy state. The food was sub par and the waiter had a negative, snarky attitude. We are so sad this was the case as we have been dining at Grouse Mountain for years, and it’s always been a favorite of ours. Unfortunately it no longer holds that place.
The pork chop, house specialty was amazing! Excellent value for fall menu, 3 course meal for $39.
We had some out of country visitors who loved the food and the ambiance. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Grouse Mountain Grille has been a favorite for years, however, this experience was so disappointing I will not likely return. The atmosphere was hurried and rude; the quality of the pork chop was horrible compared to the usual bone-in that has been a signature item for years.
Yes, the waiter was gracious and replaced the tough, cold pork chop, but my take away is that GMG has slipped significantly in quality, service and overall customer-friendly ambience.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. The pumpkin soup is not to be missed. Can’t wait to go back on our next vacation!
Great service, I would recommend this place to friends!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! Thank you!
Great resturant in every respect. Exceptional food, service, cocktails and ambience. On top of our list.
Excellent and attentive service and delicious food!
We have been to GMG many times. A number of years ago, we were harsh critics. More recently, we have had wonderful experiences. This time, we were wondering how things had changed given that the chef was in the process of leaving for another VR position. As might be expected, things are in transition. The typically crisp and knowledgeable service was uneven (dessert served without silverware) and not really fitting of a restaurant of this caliber (waiter had no wine knowledge and did not offer to call sommelier or someone else who did...). If you are going to have a wine list with almost nothing less $100 on it, you better be able to talk about it. Food was very good, albeit with some new recipes, including the iconic pork chop. We will be back later this fall to try again. Hopefully the service will have been improved by then. Our value grade of four relates to the fall 3 for 39 deal. Absent that, that grade would have been much lower.
Great food, exceptional service by Dominic. We were not impressed with the music at all. It made for a loud atmosphere and it was not entertaining.
The food was delicious and creative. The 2 breads were outstanding. Great mountain atmosphere. We were there during resraurant week. Highly recommend.
Our favorite in Beaver Creek for 10 years. Its a must go for an over the top dining experience. The high table tops are fantastic for something less involved. We're part time residents and it is a must go every time were in the valley. The trout is always a favorite with the lamb. Harold is just the bomb; we ask for him whenever we go. Looking forward to Christmas dinner!
Amazing service, Katie was a true professional. Matthew the manager was friendly and attentive. It was great dining experience overall.
My Wife & I started our Dinner with a glass of Champagne, and ordered a bottle of wine from a very good
List to follow. We ordered the corn soup & beef tartar and both were awesome. For entrees we had the the walleye and the pork chop - both were done to perfection. We did not have desert since we were full. The service was on point. We will definitely be back more often!
Five couple annual road trip. Twelve states in twenty years. Several days in a row eating two to three meals daily along with golf and other activities. This year brought us to the Beaver Creek area.
Amazing food!! I mean AMAZING!! Incredible service!! Perfect anniversary spot and WOW what a view! We got to watch the sun set on the Aspen’s and the shadows fall on the mountain as we enjoyed some one of a kind specialties. Hats off to the chef!!
Our dinner was wonderful! Service was perfect and the “Piano” Man was the best.
The food was divine. Great ambience. Everyone from the valet to the manager were courteous.
VERY expensive for average quality. The view was gorgeous and the service was excellent. I doubt I would go back because of the price relative to quality of food
You can tell it’s likely to be a good meal when the bread service comes and it’s really, really good. The homemade sausage was full of flavor and a nice small plate to share. We had the short ribs and the veal chop for our main course. The short ribs and carrots were wonderful but the veal chop stole the show! Great meal, solid service and a nice room.
Surprised that with very strong reviews that the food was mediocre. Tomato salad special needed the Parmesan to be grated not just blended into the dressing. Beef tartare was boring. Tater tots awesome! Halibut over cooked...sauce very nice. Super wine list.
David Gatowski is brilliant! He continues to create beautifully delicious food. Grouse Mountain Grill never disappoints!
We had a great table and really enjoyed the location. This was some of the best food we have had in the mountains. Would recommend this to everyone.
Excellent service by David. Excellent food, too. This is a stop we plan for annually.
All it takes is one loud mouth diner to screw up an evening out. No one would tell this guy to shut up!
Other than it being a little loud, it was great, the food and service was outstanding.
Excellent food and service. Would go back again when in Beaver Creek
Wonderful food and service. Specialty cocktails were amazing. Splurge pricing.
Always excellent food and aervice. One of our favorite places in the valley.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Mountain view was perfect as was the staff.
We had a wonderful dinning experience. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the room beautiful.
Excellent food, wine, and service!!! The perfect trifecta!
Absolutely fabulous dinner. Friends and business associates. I think we tried one of everything on the menu End it was tough to choose a favorite. Must trys: lamb chops, scallops, halibut, beef short rib, mussels, clams! Tough to choose a favorite. Highly recommended, and would absolutely return. Enjoy!
Get the pork chop! Delicious. It is quite noisy and warm in the restaurant but the food was terrific!
