Wonderful service and food. The server recommended great dishes and was spot on with the mimosas. We sat on the patio which was brisk but had heat lamps. The open air design of the restaurant is nice. I would come back.
Was a pleasant experience. Felt menu was expensive but itestaurant is in an expensive part of KA.
Everything from the salad to the pasta, the brussels sprouts to dessert was excellent. The pinot noir by the glass was acceptable but the wine list seems to be a bit shallow in order to entice diners with their cocktails. Service was good and we had a great corner location table, but the noise level made it hard to hear around the great table we had. It was a crazy windy night and the restaurant chose to keep the front door open a lot longer than it should have.
We had a party of 18 for a birthday celebration and everything was great. Food , service, vibe was spot on.
Noisy noisy. One can talk only to your closest one, otherwise you have to shout... The food is good, pretty standard, no surprises. The waiters are nice but the loud crowd affects their ability to catch right your order. Overall yes, it is a place to go in a large party and have good drinks.
We had unlimited mimosas for Sunday brunch and it was great! The service was attentive without being overbearing. The mimosas came in many flavors such as grapefruit, watermelon, and pineapple (in addition to traditional orange). The food was also very good, better than expected! Standouts included the green eggs and the crispy rice light dish... both were excellent.
The entrees varied drastically in size. Some were generous, others merely the size of an appetizer. (Even two pasta dishes were very differently portioned.) The same went for the quality - some dishes were excellent, others grossly under-seasoned and bland. Overall, the group was very disappointed.
Such a great spot. Amazing atmosphere, amazing cocktails, great food. It never seems overly crowded so you can hold a conversation. Great outdoor seating.
Goldie's is amazing. I've been back twice for one thing, and one thing only...their brussle sprouts. Do yourself a favor. Get some.
Loved loved loved the energy of the place. Great food and amazing ambiance. Perfect night for an outdoor gathering. Loved the zen feel of the place. Can't wait to go back. Fish was awesome. Loved the Brussels sprouts and French fries. The hit of the table was the shrimp pasta.
I've heard about Goldies for a while, but this was my first time I made it there. The food was so delicious I got the burrata and green grain bowl. It was super hot outside, so both dishes were light and refreshing, but filling at the same time. I will definitely be back, hopefully during their brunch hours.
Enjoyed my food outside with friend who thought he would enjoy. The basic Tomato salad very nice. The Green Green Salad and Kale salad good. Super good Gnoochi . Decent seafood spaghetti. Quick and to the point. and off to Largo at the Coronet to see Judd Apatow
Goldie's is just awesome. The food is really tasty especially the "Goldie's Burger" with fries. The best fries we have ever eaten. The next time we are in town our first stop will be Goldie's.
Amazing service and great atmosphere. Yummy drinks!
Food portions were extremely small, only had 2 cooks in the kitchen for a packed restaurant. Waiter messed up order so one meal came out 30 minutes after everyone else. I will not be coming back again.
Went for Fathers Day! Loved it and will go back a million times!
Food was fresh and tasty. Staff attentive and decor rustic
Love it. Best burger
Fun place in the heart of it all. Nice wine selection (glass or bottle) and not the usual boring menu choices most others have. Large round corner table perfect for 6+ with open air view made our gathering extra special. We will return!
Goldie's was the perfect spot for brunch on Mother's Day. I love the mushroom omelette and you can get pitchers of Bloody Mary's, yum!
Finding a decent parking spot may be daunting, but don't let it deter you from the exceptional fare at this restaurant. The staff is attentive and accommodating with most requests. Great coffee with a delicious breakfast always is appreciated.
We arranged to meet friends for a long overdue catch up and sitting outside on a Spring evening was a perfect venue. The food was delicious, unfussy Californian fare. All in all, it was perfect for a casual weeknight dinner.
Fresh and delicious!
Best places in all of LA! Would recommend it for a date or just to get a bite. Very creative tasty food. Loved it and will go go back asap.
We were there during Coachella weekend so it wasn't crowded on a late Saturday night. They have an amazing menu, especially for happy hour, 50% off until 6pm, which we missed. Everything was delicious, we had the gnocchi, steak, and some starters. The evening would have been better if the "lady" behind us hadn't been soooo ear splitting, taste-bud destroying, annoyingly witch cackle LOUD. People please remember your behaviour touches everyone in the restaurant. She was even louder than the crying baby at the table behind her.
Date/ get together/ special occasion/ Business meal/every day dining! It's the best place in town! Super chic& the ambiance is amazing! Go alone and sit at the bar or come with friends and sit under the twinkle lights! The burger is the best and the Brussels sprouts are a MUST ORDER! (Also get the meatballs) you will thank me later. HAVE FUN!
Love Goldie's, one of my favorite brunch spots in LA. The semi-outdoor patio area is lush with plants growing along the walls and in flower boxes and the food and service are always excellent.
Service was prompt and polite. Food was delivered quickly but did not seem to compromise quality. Great indoor / outdoor flow and vibe!
Decent service but food that was mediocre at best.
This is a cool space and good for a friend's get together and general people watching! I would say that the decor and ambiance is slightly better than the food. On the whole the food is good (my entree was under-seasoned) but the starters and cocktails were excellent!
Our super friendly waitress did the best she could, as it appeared she was the only one working the host stand and waiting on all the tables.
The food was mediocre in quality and presentation.
Glad we found Goldie's for an early dinner before a show at the improv.
Drinks were great, food delicious and service very attentive. Truffle fries well done are a must as well as the Brussels sprouts. Glad we found this little gem in the W. Hollywood area.
Food was good, but server was horrible. When someone has more than half of their food on the plate, but asks for the check- maybe ask if they want to take it to go instead of stacking everything on top of each other and leaving. Also- even though one member of the party changed their order to something else, both dishes were brought out and charged.
Best chicken schnitzel in LA! Best chicken schnitzel in LA! Best chicken schnitzel in LA!
Dirty and horrible bloody Marys. It was all water and no taste
Love Goldie's... first found out about them from DineLA a few years ago and keep coming back. Their brunch is really my favorite. Their avocado toast was the first I'd had anywhere and it's so good, perfect blend of heat and acid, plus perfect to share with friends. Had their Mushroom Scramble which comes with a side salad. So yummy but I will say the bread the scramble comes on can be a bit tough, I'll usually take most of that in a togo box, let it get a little soggy in the fridge so it's easier to eat. Oh and of course ordered the truffle fries to share... i love those bad boys. I think the best part is also my favorite server Megan, she's really knowledgeable on the menu and gives great suggestions.
Great local joint that is not a crazy weho price
Beautiful place to eat. Food was delicious. Maybe our server was a bit frazzled? She rarely, if ever, checked on us. Will certainly visit again. Everyone has a bad day.
This was my 3rd time dining here. This time I came for a girls catch up lunch...and we stayed for an entire six hours! While we only dined on lunch, we ordered plenty of wine (discounted in late afternoon for happy hour) to keep us planted and having a great time. Fried chicken sandwich was pretty good, although I'll try the burger instead next time. Fries are probably some of the best I've had - ask for the truffle aioli to accompany. A solid spot!
