Glenwood Grill Ratings and Reviews
We eat at Glenwood Grill often. The food is better than the cocktails. We have had check accuracy issue twice - billed for things we did not order or get. Both times with the same waiter. Check you bill. The food is wonderful - one of the best Shrimp and Grits anywhere. My primary complaint is that is it VERY loud when busy.
Chris and Bryce made the occasion perfect! Chris was able to move us to a table where we wanted it at the last minute. Bryce (waiter) even was able to gain access to a wine aerator that helped to make a poorer bottle of wine....better. Super evening as usual.
This was our first time visiting Glenwood Grill and we loved it. The food and service was amazing. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Tina our waitress was outstanding and we will be asking for her when we return. We are already planning on returning soon. I highly recommend the Glenwood Grill.
Awesome food and service. One of gem in Raleigh. We wanted to chat but seemed to be rushed. Our reservation was at 5, so we understood wanting people to leave... but we hadn’t gotten together for so long. We also understand getting others in to the restaurant, but for an establishment and cost please expect people to enjoy their food and company for at least an hour. Other than that, wonderful food and service.
Great food with uneven service in an extremely loud dining room. Our party had two appetizers - pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes. Both were excellent. Entrees were also very good - salmon, carpet bagger and pork. Our server was very slow to greet us and we had been there 25 minutes before we could place a drink/appetizer order. Once we ordered, things got better and he seemed more attentive for the most part. The dining room was small and very loud.
Early dinner with a 6 PM reservation. Restaurant was 2/3 full. As usual, food was very good (scallops, fried oysters, short ribs, she crab soup) and server was attentive. Noise level was high, even with the restaurant not full. Acoustics are not great as I could clearly hear all conversation from tables around me.
