The first signs of Spring have arrived in full bloom across the country. It is this seasonal shift that has inspired our new set lunch menu, featuring Gaucho classics and spring favourites alike. Crispy prawns with a spicy aji amarillo sauce and pickled onions are the perfect complement to the warming weather before diving into a Gaucho staple rump steak with a generous helping of chips and chimichurri sauce. Or, opt for the pan-fried sea bream with a lively salsa verde and rocket salad before indulging in a sweet Dulce de Leche pancake with a scoop of banana split ice cream. Join us from 12:00 – 16:00 at your favourite Gaucho to explore for yourself. Two courses for just £17.95, or three for £19.95.

Our roast rump of beef is served with roast potatoes and unlimited Yorkshire puddings, accompanied by seasonal vegetables, and limitless red wine gravy for £26.95 per person. Looking for something extra special? Why not upgrade to our 200g chateaubriand for £41 per person. The ultimate Sunday treat. A classic whole Gaucho fillet steak, grilled and roasted with love to share, served with array of sides and, of course, limitless gravy to bring the curtain down on Sunday with aplomb. *Please note we cannot guarantee roasts beyond 5pm. *Also available - traditional Sunday Roast £15 for children and our Vegan Sunday Roast for £26.95 per person.

As always the service and food at Gaucho Slone Avenue did not disappoint! Water arrived as soon as we were seated, swiftly followed by our drinks, a tangy tango and two larger. Our drinks were topped up regularly by our attentive, but unobtrusive waiter. We ordered the steak tartare and shrimp ceviche to start, followed by the Gaucho Sampler to share between three. We added half a lobster and some Gambas, green beans, fries and 3 sauces (peppercorn, chimichurri and chipotle bbq) To finish We demolished a sticky toffee pudding, a chocolate brownie and an Alforjores. The tartare was fantastic, flavourful with the addition of the slow cooked duck egg yolk and the right ratio of meat to cracker....which was splendid too! The ceviche was delicious. Delightfully fresh and vibrant in flavour served with some great bread. The perfect start..... The Gaucho Sampler with sides and toppings was the perfect amount for three to share. The lobster was cooked to perfection and a decent size. The prawns were huge and so very fresh..you could still taste the sea! The sides are not an after thought, crisp green beans, seasoned and served with confit lemon zest that was divine in it's own right. Great fries, crisp and tasty with the thyme seasoning. Sauces were fantastic...well made, packed with flavour and a good amount as not to overwhem the delicious steak cooked precisely to our request of medium rare. The different cuts were all so tender, but differed in texture and flavour, outstanding. We were left feeling satisfied, but with room for desert! The sticky toffee is rich, but light in texture...I'm not usually a fan of sticky toffee, but this is my favourite desert at Gaucho! The brownie was a sticky, rich, chocolatey delight and the Alforjores was a delicious new experience for us. A perfectly balanced desert of coconut parfait, ice cream, biscuit and chocolate sauce. Would definitely order again. Topped off with outstanding service from the friendly team, a great night!

I had a wonderful meal by Gaucho on Saturday. The atmosphere was great, the food wonderful and the service spot on! what else more could I wish for? Thank you to Rossella and to whole Gaucho team!

Friendmas was a good marketing stunt and a nice easy way to book a get together without having to think too much. Good evening and drinks had by all.
