   My wife and I have been to the Sunday Lunch buffet many times over the years and we had made reservations for this coming weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I just got a call from them telling me gentleman must wear a tie and women must wear a dress. Good for them but I have not worn a tie in the last 10 years and I am not about to this Sunday. Maybe it is just me but this is a ridiculous requirement because all the professionals I know and work with don’t own a tie. Who wears ties these days except for at weddings and funerals…. Too bad so sad…. We really enjoyed our time we spent there…

   This food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the carne asada fries and my husband had the chocolate cake and this was one of the best room service dinners we have ever had. Their cheesecake is perfectly tart and the option to have it all up in your room with an ocean view of the gulf is just the absolute best! I’m excited to try breakfast which they do have a crab Benedict!!! Definitely will be coming back here to the new and improved Grand Galvez.

   Gaidos was full so we decided to eat here with no wait. Food, service and Ambiance were great. No stress No wait but still enjoyed a nice meal with great cocktails. Menu was smaller than other restaurant but everything we had was awesome.

   Service was slow but I believe it was due to under-staffing and not poor performance. Still, it took a long time for orders to be made and for them to arrive. The food was absolutely delicious. We were very impressed. Very, very good. The prices would have been worth it if the ambience and overall experience were elevated to a more premium and possibly more romantic vibe. The restaurant is not configured in a way that encourages customers to treat the space as if they are dining in a place of any decorum or respect. The menu, the prices, the attire of the waitstaff and the location itself all suggest that a more elevated experience should be expected, but the vision is never realized and instead, one is left with a dining experience that feels empty and forgettable.

   The food was great. My wife had the Jambalaya and I had the crab stuffed redfish. We think the waiter was on a learning curve as he was very tentative at times and a bit awkward when asking if we were ready for the check. Having said that he was very courteous and clearly wanted us to enjoy our experience. Unfortunately, after the dinner was over we tried to get our car from the valet service but all of the valets had gone home. We were not the only ones inconvenienced. An overworked front desk attendant was left to sort things out which he did with as much professionalism as he could muster. We're sure things will improve as we emerge from the Covid hangover.

   No ice tea Saled was only lettuce Service was the worst ever Food was wrong I cant believe this place

   Daughter wanted a "fancy" birthday dinner so we ate at the hotel. Wasn't crowded but took a bit to be seated even though we had a reservation. Waitress was nice and attentive when she checked in periodically... I'm not sure if the issue is the kitchen or wait staff or both being extremely understaffed but took 20 min to get drinks (water/soda). Even longer for appetizers, then food. They ran out of crab so couldn't order the crab cakes or stuffed fish. My fish was very salty and dry but the steaks were good. Overall very disappointing service for the price of food and a restaurant that wasn't busy on a Tuesday evening. Took 2hr 15 min from time we sat down until we paid (had 1 appetizer, salad, 3 entrees, 1 kids meal, beverages from the bar).
