Our server, Adam, was extremely attentive and made the evening a total sucess!
We love it here - had a minor problem with a dirty chair, and the staff was great and cleaned everything up fast and gave us guacamole for the inconvenience. The good news is that with a little Oxi-Clean my white jeans came out perfectly clean!
Overpriced and just ok.
Good food and service. The tableside guacamole is really good.
I doubt you can do much, but I would have liked management to ask adults to control the children better. It was a bad distraction with kids running around.
We love the tableside Guacamole, I got the mac and cheese with prime rib, the prime rib still really red but my husband tuna salad on point. We did the smores for dessert and the graham crackers were a little soft but it was very yummy! and they were super fun to make at the table.
The restaurant is always so nice and the ambience was nice. The food is good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was cold when we went so that made dining a little difficult, but I’m sure some people didn’t mind and it didn’t deter us from staying. The food was delicious and didn’t take too long to come out.
Our server was great and stayed on top of refilling our water glasses.
The salmon, pork chops, sea bass and filet dinners were excellent. The prime rib dinner had more fat than the diner thought it should. Even the dinner salad was excellent. Our waiter was attentive without hovering. At our table of seven, conversation was possible but not really comfortable due to the noise of other diners’ conversations. Cocktail before dinner was tasty but left no fear of becoming inebriated.
The food was excellent and our server was fantastic. We loved the guacamole appetizer. They make it fresh in front of you. My tuna was fresh and cooked perfectly and my husband had a filet that was cooked to perfection. The wait time was a little lengthy but I still would give 5stars because true food was so good.
Overcooked steak and undercooked fries. The dish was remade but no visit from the manager to apologize or any type of compensation for their error.
We enjoyed FlameStone for the second time. More specifically, we returned to this restaurant a year later when we were visiting the area again for a vacation. The service was wonderful. The young man waiting on us was great. The Chardonnay was not chilled when it came to the table (not his fault), and he took it back, agreeing that if it could not chill fast enough before our meal was served, we would switch to another wine. They were very accommodating toward my vegetarian diet and easily agreed to make the parmesan risotto side into an entrée and added asparagus and sundried tomatoes. It was wonderful. My guests had the meatloaf and the other, the filet. They remarked that everything was as good as when we were there last year.
Flamestone is a guarantee of good food service (Dylan!) and great food. We all had steak with two fish exceptions and all were cooked perfect. I usually order a steak meal, but this time I was not as hungry so I ordered the steak and blue salad! It was outstanding! Our waiter (Dylan!) kept the drinks flowing which we love, and kept removing the old soldiers, which we love! Ours is a fussy crowd usually, because we all cook and love good food and cocktails. Flamestone did not disappoint. My one and only complaint was the blonde female bartender. She underpoured my martini, leaving some in the shaker as I watched and then refused to top it off when we asked. Poor customer service. She could have made the attempt anyway.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the brunch was here. We ordered the guacamole, and it was made perfectly. Unfortunately, it did take a little bit longer. So, our server decided to take matters into her own ah da and make our guacamole. Also, the Bloody Mary bar was shutting down and running out of some items when we came in which can be expected. The food did take awhile to get out but it was well worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was very friendly and on top of her game. She gave good recommendations and was conversational and helpful. I am very pleased with our visit and I would gladly dine here again.
The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the grilled artichoke and tuna stack appetizers. I had the filet migon and they both had prime rib. The steaks were so tender and delicious. We had the s’mores dessert, a little different. Would definitely go back again.
Overall I will go to Flamestone again. The 9oz filet was more like a sirloin than a filet - a little tough. Service was good and the atmosphere is good. The "music" is too loud and has too much of a beat. Soft music is better for dinner.
I love Flamestone it’s one of my favorite restaurants. Food is always amazing and the servers are always Making sure your dining experience is memorable. I brought my sister for her first time and she just loved it...
I ordered a steak salad. A salad with a cooked to order steak cut up on top of the salad.
The steak was not warm.
It was obviously cooked earlier.
The waiter was very nice, apologized and brought me a new steak cooked within minutes.
After dinner I ordered a cup of coffee. My friend ordered one too.
Both were served luke warm at the most.
The waiter apologized and got us hot ones.
Very disappointing and I feel uncalled for.
Great place to meet friends for dinner!
It was my husband first visit to your restaurant and he really like it. As for me, I go with friends on multiple occasions. The food was delicious.
We were served at a good pace not a long wait or rushed. Our server was attentive and brought us a great dessert to share for our anniversary. Much better than any of the steak chain places. Prime rib was wonderful as was the steak. Season veggies were a little overdone on grill and too crisp steamed broccoli.
Had the Flamestone salad with Salmon and it was the best.
Excellent food and service on our second visit. We will be back!
It was my birthday so we thought we would try a new place. This restaurant was beyond our expectations. Everyone from the hostess to the waiters was so friendly and personable. They wished me happy birthday, surprised me with a delicious birthday piece of cake and had a birthday card for me. The food was wonderful. If you like guacamole, this is the place to go. They made it fresh at your table. So yummy! The grouper was excellent. Everything was positive. Highly recommend!
Tony, our waiter, was an exceptionally attentive and sincerely interested in pleasing us.
Gave me sample of your cider, told us NOT to rush, just enjoy ourselves! Most American restaurants want the customers in/out quickly - not a good feeling when trying to have a reunion with a special friend.
PLEASE make sure he receives this commendation - I'll not give feedback if the proper person doesn't hear my comments.
The food was outstanding. The guacamole prepped at the table was great. My wife and children all had different dishes and they all thought the food was great. The service was very good too. The food came out quickly.
Good food and our server was excellent! Will be returning soon!
Food was good, not excellent. but lots of background noise/music too loud. Also, several ceiling tiles missing over hightop tables in bar area, sheets of Insulation hanging down, very surprised they sat people under that. Was dark/high ceiling, so most people probably didnt notice.
We had a very enjoyable evening at FlameStone. The food is always excellent. One steak had to go back to additional cooking, but the overall experience was very good. We will go again!
Restaurant was very loud with way too many tables crowded into the dining room. Food wasn't bad, but wasn't notable either. Odd for guacamole to be the signature dish in a steakhouse. Clearly struggling to distinguish itself and not succeeding.
Great night to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first visit and would definitely return!
We frequent the Oldsmar location frequently. Out of town guests were visiting and our dinner exceeded all expectations. Our server, Tony, did a superb job! Thank you!
The server, Shawn, was Outstanding. Table-side guacamole is always a treat. I had grilled salmon, which was lovely. We celebrated my friend’s bday with chocolate cake in the House. I’ll be back!!
Everything was great! Food Delicious, Service was superb.
It was a perfect Father's Day dinner for Dad and Granddad!
Great food and service every time we visit!
Bloody Mary bar at Sunday brunch is awesome.
We went there for Father’s Day brunch and it was good. We have our toddler and infant with us, so it was not completely relaxing, but the staff did a good job to accommodate us.
Food was fantastic. Tyler the server was very observant and non obtrusive. He did a good job. Only issue was in an almost empty restaurant we were sat right next to the only other customers there, they were celebrating a birthday and my elderly mother had a hard time hearing our conservations.
Flamestone is a very unique restaurant. The ambiance is quite charming and provides customers the minimal noise level due to its carpet and cushioned wall decor.
The food is flavorful (a bit on the pricey side) and the service is fantastic.
The only constructive insight is the martini. I asked for a slight dirty, nonshaken martini. The olives had a poor taste and the olive juice was not palatable.
Server gave me a new martini without the dirty and it was great.
The service and meal were fantastic!! Get the campfire s’mores for dessert!! A great experience all around! Would definitely go again when visiting the Tampa area.
