Decided to go at the last minute after they extended restaurant week. Great food great value and of course we had our excellent server Jill. It’s nice to see they’re bringing back some of the old traditional meals. It’s starting to feel like the fantastic restaurant we fell in love some 20 years ago!
Great service and great food. Thank you! Wife and I had a great time
We have been dining at Five Crowns since 1985. Food and service are super. Great wine selection.
Restaurant week. Great deal. Anniversary celebration.
Five Crowns provides excellent service of perfectly cooked meals. The prime rib and Steak Neptune are our favorites. Server Jessica was welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. We appreciate the hard working staff at Five Crowns.
service and food was awesome the only thing I didn't get point booking threw open table probably will use some other app from now on
Came here for restaurant week. Food, service, and drinks were all great! Will be back to try regular menu. Valet should be complimentary for people who dine at the restaurant considering the cost of the bill.
Always a good meal! Love the atmosphere in the greenhouse/garden area.
Great! Wonderful service!
It’s our first time here and we really had a good experience
My previous visits have gone well. However, this time the prime rib was a little tough. The sides, cream corn and mashed potatoes, were delicious. I went for OC Restaurant Week.
Despite being the first night of OC Restaurant week, the staff there was on their game. Our server Jill was covering quite a large area as well as a party of 12. My wife was delighted with her birthday dinner and dessert and the sommelier was exceptionally informative and complimentary of our choices of wine. We are looking forward to returning soon.
The ambience is great, the service is also great, but not the food. It's not up to my standard but they were very thoughtful and accommodating
Prime rib slices are getting thinner and thinner. My California cut was about 1/4" thick and not as tender as the they used to be. I've had French dip sandwiches with a thicker slices.
I recommend management maintain the quality and quantity of food by raising prices instead of cutting back.
Restaurant week was quite a deal. We go many times always have a delicious meal. Can’t wait to return again
We really enjoyed the whole experience. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We definitely will return.
Had a very enjoyable meal. Our wait staff was very attentive and polite. The food we ordered met our expectation.
Love the ambience of this place! Yummy food and drinks.
The food was excellent as usual. Apparently our server was challenged by his assigned tables, because our service was below average. Also, we sat in the Crown Nelson Room whick was not our first choice of seating because of the noise level. We like to converse during dinner, but that was difficult when the room filled.
We went on Sunday night March 1.
Our Server was Rick. While he was very pleasant and cordial, he was not very tentative.
The service was very slow.
Excellent service from the hostess to the busboy not to mention our warm and efficient server. The prime rib is amazing as expected for a Lawry’s restaurant but so was everything else
Getting the Nixon Nook for my daughter’s birthday celebration was really nice. As long standing VIPs, that was appreciated.
A “welcome back” would be the best greeting both at reception & by the serving staff.
I have had the last 2 experiences at 5 crowns be the worst meals I have maybe ever had. I hate to say that. The first time was my birthday and I ordered the steak. It came out so underdone. I sent it back and I got a hockey puck in return. The next was my fiancé’s 40th. Again my steak not cooked to order and what I got back was one side normal steak and the other charcoal. I also ordered a glass of wine that never came and it wasn’t because it was busy. We got at like 5 pm and there isn’t a crowd. I guess maybe if you don’t love raw prime rib don’t do. And yes, I know that’s what they specialize in but a restaurant should be able to please all patrons. Including those who have paid for special attributes .
Great for family dinner!
Great food, cozy atmosphere, good service and a really well made Martini😉
My wife and I were seated upstairs in the smaller room with only 2 other tables. It was very nice since we had not been upstairs for a number of years and it felt a more intimate. The service and food were excellent as usual and we had a very enjoyable time.
